Dear guys and girls,

It is with great grieve and sad, heavy hearts but the decision is made. There will be NO worlds 2020 😭

The reason is simple: we have not been able to find enough sponsors to make it happen. Although we have been working very hard for that and reached out to every company we could think of.

That was even more important to us since this years sponsor eventually could not fulfill the agreements and left us without the sponsorfee. That means litterly that we had to pay A LOT of invoices from our own pocket and we went down for approximately € 7000(!!). We are still paying the debts.

This is unfortunately the second time that a sponsor walks away without paying his dues although we delivered our part of the bargain and literally pay all costs from our own pocket. So there is no way we are willing to take that risk a third time.

We gave ourselves until November 1st to find enough sponsors. We prosponed that date until December 1st. Still not enough sponsors and too much of uncertainties and risks. And so we had to take the decision and made it a ‘no go’.

What ever happens in the future: honestly we simply don’t know! Worlds 2021? Maybe. Who knows. For now we first have to recover from this disappointments.

It is what it is. We truly wish there was another message to give. We are so so sorry guys.
