My band Excaved released a new demo called "The Rotten Touch" on may 12th.

This release marks the first production i basically did from beginning to end. From engineering and recording drums, bass and guitar to mixing and mastering.

It was also the first time i intentionally did not use any pre-produced samples or amp sims. Although this presented some challenges i am really happy with the end result.

Another production that finally crawled up to the surface. Smoke Weaver with their first demo "Ashen Maw". Sludgy stoner doom at its finest! Those catchy songs instantly got stuck in my head. Give it a listen!

Exactly one week an ago The Pioneer released their first CD. Having been a part of the band right up until the recordings started, this project still feels like a personal one. Although there was a tight schedule, i think the overall production turned out to be pretty good. Give it a listen, especially if you like Isis, Neurosis and ones alike.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to do live sound for the first time. Even though the request came at really short notice, everything worked out quite well in the end.

PIG'S BLOOD, VERBUM and Goatcraft put on a really great show. If you can, try to catch them on their remaining EU tour dates.

A few days ago my good friend Jörn captured my studio place in its current state before it eventually will get reworked sometime in the near future.

Das zweite Album der Wolfsburger Death Metaller CYPHONISM wird den Titel "Cosmic Voidance" tragen und am 13. Mai via Black Sunset/MDD erscheinen! Euch erwartet bedingungsloser Death Metal mit schweren Grooves und dichter Atmosphäre. Die enthaltenen 10 knochenharten Nackenbrecher dürften die Nackenmuskeln jedes Freundes des Genres strapazieren. Gemischt und gemastert wurde das Album von Aljoscha Töpel im Konstrukted Audio Studio. Das beeindruckende und konzeptionelle Artwork stammt von Jakhangir Zeynalov und Gitarrist Julian Müller. The second album of the Wolfsburg based death metallers Cyphonism will be titled "Cosmic Voidance" and will be released on May 13th via Black Sunset/MDD! You can expect unconditional Death Metal with heavy grooves and dense atmosphere. The included 10 bone-crushing neckbreakers should strain the neck muscles of every friend of the genre. The album was mixed and mastered by Aljoscha Töpel at Konstrukted Audio Studio. The impressive and conceptual artwork was done by Jakhangir Zeynalov and guitarist Julian Müller.
