✋🏾Sooooo people! Here we go !
Friday 21st of June save the date !

AAITF returns with the first party of the season who hopefully will become a yearly unmissable rendez vous : The BLOCK PARTY for Fête de la Musique.
As last year it will take place at our favorite local Spatti Madame Hobrecht corner Hobrechtstr/ Burknerstr from 4pm until 10 pm sharp !

This year we have been given authorisation to close to circulation a portion of the street and enjoy it to dance and gather around a wild array of artists and friends all joining with very much enthusiasm.
Also bringing a good sound system 🔊

We remember last year first edition was everything we wanted to bring back to the Berlin dance culture, freedom in our streets, togetherness and the joy of just throwing a party as a gift for our crowd once a year as a big thanks to support us through the years.

This special edition is dedicated and will always be dedicated to our dear Dani “ Aerea Negrot “ who played the first edition and has always been up to share moments like this as the spontaneous bright mind she was.

AAITF is glad to announce that our resident and curator will be part of our night .db.berlin Friday 29 opening Easter weekend with a Live session, which will focus on one of the greatest musician, percussionist of our time.
Dauwd and Naghib met at Villa Medici last NYE and it was an immediate musical connection, from that very night the idea of them joining forces and senses grew and will manifest Friday night in a live which promises to be monumental !
We hope you feel like going into a trance dance and enjoy this reunion under a different format for this time, with a 150 capacity only to provide an intimate yet joyful and warm gathering.
Dauwd electronic production skills and his fluidity in collaboration with the magic and dexterity of Naghib is something that sound fruitful and exciting.

🤚🏾 We are happy to celebrate 9 years of AAITF on the 8th of December 2023 for the very first time
It is actually very exciting and rejuvenating to have our anniversary at a new venue start a new cycle with a fresh room, a new canvas for our sonic stories.
It’s been quite a year, very dense, very fulfilling musically and we definitely felt the love back from our community or dancers, guests and friends.
It is an incredible, wonderful thing that we are carrying on our journey together.
This time and because it’s long overdue and never been done at our night yet, Dauwd & myself will perform an all night long B2B which promise to be memorable.
We in addition to this have invited Astan Ka to perform Live, as a perfect interlude in this extended DJ set performance. In the chill room you’ll be pampered into a variety of sounds outside the club beats selected by Sarah Zeryab from 11-3 am. AAITF is a fountain of youth and joy, let’s party !

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and record bags for these fantastic 9 years.

📢 concert tonight .db.berlin is SOLD OUT !
There won’t be any tickets at the door due to capacity being reached.
The evening starts with founder and curator for a listening session on records.
There will be an outdoor grill and some various food options also vegan.
A great selection of nature wine and cocktails as well as tasty softs.
There will be some posters and some merch available to purchase.
Don’t forget to bring change for that matter.

The show will starts around 8:30pm

After the show will carry on with a dj set and you can stick around until midnight.

🌀Tomorrow, Sunday 3rd of September after few years in the works we are happy to present you an iconic band
We picked the option of an intimate session rather than the usual vertical and stiff concert situation and have chose the .db.berlin for setting up this show.
From 6pm will bring her records and play as a listening session before the show in the pure selector tradition.
There will be an outdoor barbecue and food options as well as nature wine, delicious softs and cocktails options.
The show will start around 8:30 pm. You are welcome to stick around after the show until midnight.
🎟There are few tickets left but we suggest strongly to purchase online as the capacity of the venue is limited to 150 people.
If there is still tickets tomorrow we will let you know and will have few at the door.

✋🏾Happy to finally announce or next concert on the Sunday 3rd is September with the wonderful in Berlin for the first time ! We invite you to a very unique session, intimate cosy with an evening curated around the sound of the desert and some delicious food and drinks to enjoy the night.

🎟Only 150 tickets so make sure to not sleep on this.

🔵The name Etran de L’Aïr translates to “the Stars of the Aïr,” the mountainous region of Northern Niger. They are based in the town of Agadez, an urban center of the desert, and a city reknowned for the production of music – in particular the electric guitar and the so-called “desert blues,” popularized as late by bands such as Mdou Moctar and Bombino. Agadez is a guitar town, and boasts dozens of bands. All of these groups are working musicians. In the Sahara, this style of electric guitar is intertwined with a social function. Bands are ceremonial, and are hired out to play in weddings, baptisms, and political events. It is possible to make a living from this “wedding circuit,” and Agadez is a center of this lucrative commerce. In the circuit of wedding bands of Agadez, Etran de L’Aïr is the best known and longest playing groups. Yet they are also a band that has remained on the fringes of success.

Etran is not just a musical group, but a family collective. Formed in 1995, an eternity ago in the Sahara, Etran was founded by member Aghaly Migi. Over the years, he taught his younger brothers to play, and integrated them into the group. Agadez was much smaller than, there was little electricy, and the electric guitar was rare. When the band began, they only had one acoustic guitar, and the rhythm section was a calabash floating in water “hit with a sandal, to make a drum.” When amplification eventually found its way to Agadez, the acoustic guitar was modified, using a transducer microphone. In the past 10 years, the band was able to acquire more material – a drum set, a few electric guitars. As the family grew, so did the band. Today, all the members are related, brothers and cousins.

✋🏾Wednesday 21st of June is the first day of Summer🌀and also Fête de la Musique !
We thought we start the season with a free celebration, a gathering in our hood and celebrate with a ‘Block Party’ at our beloved Spatti Madame Hobrecht 🌆 who kindly accepted to let us spin in their shop☺️

Allright so it’ll start at 5 pm will stop at 10 pm Sharp we expect everyone to understand to leave the area calmly.
We ask for everyone who comes down to behave respectfully and with care about the neighbourhood and it’s people.
Please don’t leave trash behind you in the street, and be kind to everyone involved.
We hope for the most peaceful and joyful reunion.

Meet me

Founder or AAITF night/label since 2014 based in Berlin and building music bridges worldwide.
AAITF has been my project this last decade taking me places I would never dream to go to, but most essentially allowing me to grow as a performer.
I Learn to Dj, curate and gather people with AAITF,in all its forms, wether it’s throwing a night, curating a radio show or producing Live show with a band…
My previous experiences in the nightlife and music industry has shaped the contours of AAITF, or simply how I wanted to do things my own way.
Back in 2014 when things started for me, music at a club/party In Berlin still had a very uniform and unilateral feeling in lots of places.
My taste always oscillated on a wild spectrum and I was quite sure it was same for many people.
That may be is the force behind AAITF. It’s all about curiosity.
It’s amazing how much AAITF shook things around and open a road for awareness.
I as a DJ love and try to stay true to that and hope to provide maximum authenticity while selecting.

Playing and hosting is such an amazing mission thanks to everyone that carried love and support towards us.

Anyway sentimental stops here haha Saturday I will play a set at rising sun, expect to shake, bounce and groove ♨️🔊♨️

Dauwd has been a force and ground element of AAITF since its very debut.
Strong from his experience has music producer and international touring DJ he has evolved with our community into providing « sur mesure » sets at our nights.
Anyone who’s been knows how much Dauwd is giving for each performance at our night.
In his early career days know for his releases on label such has Ninja Tunes, Ghostly to name a few he his now delivering impactful electronic productions via his own imprint .

MX. SÜR //XSM Recordings
Ever since 2007, Mx. Sür has been aiming at contributing to the unifying power of music and
dance as a person behind the decks.
Hacking life by means of nightlife culture and calibrating between the genres, Mx. Sür is one of
the procreators of Istanbul’s unique spaces; Wake Up Call, Suma Beach and Mama. Standing as
one of the scene’s most outspoken q***r voices, they are also behind prolific party series such
as Come to Mama!, TUTTIFRUTTI and XES.
Mx. Sür’s latest Project comes in the form of their founded label, XSM Recordings (Ex-
Stepmother Recordings), the slutty and revolutionary motherhood projects that expands and
q***rs the boundaries of definitions, which made quite the first impression with the release of
“ALAN2020”, a pride parade anthem by Mx. Sür and Kübra Uzun. Recently, they have been
attempting at shifting to mommy era by releasing new records via XSM Recordings and
organizing XSM events.

We are more than happy to welcome MX SUR for his performance at our night, not only is a long time friend but also the first connection to Turkey music scene for me.

MX SUR will play a steamy set on late closing hours ♨️

We are back in Berlin, the weather is glorious and we can slowly process the last 5 weeks away in Japan & Korea giving about 10 gigs meeting many new friends and nurturing some very cool ideas for the future, creating a new bridge between Asia and Berlin…
Getting to work on this new project already, taking November off gigs to focus on this and the long overdue new AAITF releases 🎶
