Somehow I felt like posting this article exactly one year after it was published in the Kyiv Post. The story was about emigrants who have rediscovered their connection to Ukraine. I gave the interview for in March 2021, shortly after I moved to Kyiv to live there for 7 months.
I took my chance to see and experience as much as possible during my time in Ukraine in 2021. And I was deeply impressed to see the transformation the country went through, to meet so many highly inspirational people, and to experience the creativeness and curiosity of the music scene.
Ukrainian people are demonstrating huge bravery right now. The whole music community is involved on all possible levels in support of the country, its citizens and its defence.
