Heartbreaking bedroom pop: this is what happens when a Julian Casablancas idolising teenager goes through his first big break-up. "A Co**se Is Lying in My Bed", released through tomatenplatten, is the first taste of the Swiss multi-instrumentalist's AIN'T UR ENN's album "Languish", which will be released in May. The screeching guitars paired with vivid lyrics give an insight into the mind of someone at a pretty obvious low point in their life. Emooo!

It's still pretty quiet when it comes to new musical releases. So we're listening to albums from last year that have been left lying around for far too long. Such as “There, I said it” from Greek artist Bipolia, released through Veego Records in October 2024. Inspired by very different influences - post-punk, grunge, electronic -, it is a fascinatingly multi-layered debut, of which we were particularly taken with the song “Call the Ambulance”. We've already loved their debut album "Trouble"* - now we are delighted that Laundromat Chicks from Vienna are back with more nocturnal jangle! And what's even better: their third album “Something Possessed” is to be released in January 2025 via Siluh Records. But until then, let's listen to "Cameron", a beautiful song where the protagonist explores his sexualty, while frontman Tobias Hammermüller's vocals remind us of legends such as Calvin Johnson or Adam Green. 💚💜
