I love my film camera, images are so real and vibrant. They reveal the essence and the depth of existence. They make me more aware and more curious about the world and myself. This is a photo I snapped with my film camera a ehile ag. It shows a man who lives on the streets, but also a man who has a soul and a spirit.

He was unaware of my presence, he was lost in his own thoughts. He makes me question what it means to be human, to be happy, to be free. He makes me wonder about the mystery and the meaning of life.

I love the Kadiköy area in Istanbul. It has so much charm and history. I always visit the old bakery and get a slice of something sweet. Then I hop on the ferry and enjoy the views and the breeze. I also think about the good times I had on the Islands. This place is amazing and I’m happy to share it with you.

Summer time in Istanbul is always a delight, especially in the vibrant Kadiköy area. There is so much to see and do, from exploring the colorful street art and cafes, to enjoying the breeze and views of the Bosphorus. I had the pleasure of photographing Laura Moinian, an incredibly talented cello player from Hannover. Not only is she a true master of her craft, but she also has a contagious energy and sense of humor that made our photoshoot an absolute blast.

I stumbled across a musician dressed in the traditional garb of a South American tribe, with his face painted in colorful designs. Despite his unusual appearance, he radiated friendliness and kindness, making him the most memorable person I met that day.

I asked to take his picture and he agreed. As I snapped the photo, I was inspired by his passion for his culture and music.
