Mga katagang malimit nating mabanggit lalo na sa mga panahong tayo ay masaya at sagana. Mga bagay na dapat inuuna pero madalas nakakalimutan pa. Simpleng bigkasin pero mahirap tuparin lalo na sa mga pagkakataong sinusubok ka.

Imagine crystal clear water surrounded by lush trees, mountain peaks and fog rising up from the lake. Bubungad sayo ay shimmering yellow golden hue sa umaga. How divine and fascinating diba?

How to get there?

From Salzburg:
By Bus: From Salzburg Main Station, look for Bus 840 which is heading to Berchtesgaden Main Station. Duration is only 50 minutes. On bus 840, the Deutschland Ticket is only valid for German section. Since ang Salzburg ay part pa ng Austria, nagbayad pa kami ng 6,20 euro or 370 pesos for a Day Ticket.

From Monday to Friday, the earliest bus leaves at 6:35 am and the last will be at 18:15 pm meanwhile on weekends the 1st bus leaves at 9:15am and 5:15 is the last trip.

When you arrived at Berchtesgaden Main Station, ride Bus 841 heading to Schönau am Königsee and there you can ride an electric boat sailing to St. Bartholamä and Obersee.

There is 2 options in buying boat ticket. One is to the 1st stop- St. Bartholama and the other is until the 2nd stop which is to Salet and Obersee.

1. Pwedeng maligo sa Lake Königsee?

Yes, Lake Königsee is the cleaniest lake with the best water quality in Germany but expect that the water is freezing cold.

2. Ibang paraan para makarating sa Lake Königsee?
From Salzburg to Schönau am Königsee, another option will be riding a taxi but it will cost you much. Renting a car is also an option

There is no other way rather than riding an electric boat to reach the other side of the lake but you can rent your own rowing boat.

3. Best time to visit?
May to July is the best time to visit because of the weather and you can also avail D-Ticket.

4. Things that are prohibited in Lake Königsee.
Wild camping, flying a drone, and please don’t miss the last boat kung ayaw niyo magbayad ng fine.

Kinaya at kakayanin pa. 🙏

Unang beses kaming nakasakay ng rides ay sponsored pa ng isang medical mission kung saan kami nagvolunteer way back 2012. We never enjoyed having rides even sa peryahan noong mga bata pa kami dahil sa wala ding ipambabayad.

Pero grabe, God is really good. God gave us opportunity to ride a cable car for the first time at dito pa sa magandang lugar nato. We indeed enjoyed the beautiful panorama while contemplating on how good He is to us and to our family. We learned that no matter how difficult or shaky the road or way ahead, don‘t quit. May it be about career or goals. Wag mong susukuan lalo na sa panalangin. 🙏

Kung sumuko kami noon at kung nagpadala kami sa mga negative na mga sinasabi ng mga tao noon, marahil wala kami sa mga kinatatayuan namin ngayon.

Takot ka sa heights pero gusto ng adventure? Travelling on a budget? Then eto ang bagay sa inyo.

Zwölferhorn Seilbahn in St. Gilgen Austria is only 30 euro instead of riding the Dachstein Cable car in Hallstatt, Austria, which costs 59,90 euro. Oh diba? Kalahati ang naitipid. 😉

The new gondolas offer a pleasant level of comfort, a fantastic view and plenty of space. In just 11 minutes, the new cable car climbs 908 meters up the St. Gilgen local mountain. Its up to you if you want to hike going up and ride the cable car on going down or vice versa, or both ways. There is also other options like paragliding , snowshoeing, ski tour(for winter season)

The Zwölferhorn rises exactly 1522 meters above Lake Wolfgang at sobrang ganda niya lalo na sa tuktok. Mapapa „Thank you Lord“ ka talaga.

✨How to get there from Salzburg, Austria:

1. Ride the Bus 150 in Salzburg Main Station, Line F. The fare is not included to „Deutschland Ticket or 49 euro ticket“.
2. The journey takes for 40mins and the bus operates every hour.
3. If you are also going to Hallstatt, Austria first and will going to Gilgen Austria for a side trip, just like what we did. Best move is to get the backn‘forth ticket which only cost 30euro per person. The ticket going to Gilgen is already included. You don‘t need to buy extra ticket anymore, since nadadaanan naman siya paguwi sa Salzburg.

✨Need to know before riding the cable car.
1. It opens at 9:00am and last ride would be until 5pm.
2. There is a restaurant on the top of the mountain which you can enjoy your food with a view.
3. Dogs are allowed to ride but make sure they are kept on leash and have a bite proof muzzle on.
4. Children born in 2017 and later are free of charge. Children born between 2008 and 2016 are entitled to child fare.
