In my primary and second school we used to eat maize and beans from Monday to Friday without complaint, in my language we call it kamaengele.

This is on of Kenyans staple food ,in my village especially,we can eat it from breakfast to Dinner 👏🏽👏🏽

The maize was full of weevils and no cooking oil Just boiled and a bit of Paraffin rwaaap.No bloating nothing. The Paraffin was used to reduce lipid....🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽

By the way maize and beans is very nutritious, I have trained my kids to like it and we Cook at least once per week.

Pack with her some birthday present for her guests
In Germany when kids attend birthdays they get some gifts too from the birthday girl or boy
In Africa birthday child receives the gift but not giving back to his/his guest

Aah we don't celebrate birthday in my village only in towns so let me not yap tooooo much

I used to love cleaning our kitchen and church With cowdung ,many people don't like it but I do.
Whenever I go back home I go to my neighbors to do that ,I think it is msambwa too 🤔 since we don't have it at our home nowadays

For those who don't know ,we have traditional houses in the villages that are cleaned using cowdung at least once per week . Plan cowdung mixed with water to make it easy to be smeared on the ground well .You have to work on your knees the way I am doing it in the photo.

When it becomes hard,you add water to soften it the floor should remain green and smooth 🙂

I know this is too much for Cool kids to understand 😊🫶🏽

Yesterday we managed to set up a Christmas tree, actually this is a American style, Germans put only 23 balls plus a star. For Americans they use as many balls as possible and my children love that.

Just doing it for the sake of my kids otherwise Christmas decorations is not my cup of tea
