📝Life's lessons from Cameroonian comedian, Mc Shortgun!
Parent: Please my son/daughter, things are not moving on very well for us back home. Send us something.
Daughter/son: I have heard. Will see what to do .. ('replying on top of a big pan rice and stew with chicken')
[A week after]
Parent: We are starving. Please send us something small.
Daughter/son: Weeeh! Just wait. Will send it. Things are not easy on us (replying while doing give away, and posting luxurious lifestyle on social media)
[Months later]
Parent: Please, I'm sick. My body aches.
Son/daughter: Ashia! You will get well soon. Will send money for your medication (Instead sending to one girl in UB... to do her hair)
[Three months later]
Neighbour: Hello! Just calling to inform you that your mum/dad is dead.
Son/daughter: Jesus Christ! Not my father/mother! God why? I'm finished! God don't allow this happen!
[Next day, Facebook post]
I just lost my dad/mum. I remember all the times you will suffer for us making us to have food .................... If money could bring you back God knows we tried our best. I could not give you the best in life. Rest in peace mum/dad.
Commenters: Take heart , dear... Chaii! This cant be true... I understand your pains... OMG tell me it's a lie........ Ashia, dear. Take heart ok....
LESSON: They will never come back, but trust me, your parents are supposed to be your first priorities in life...
Joke with anything, not with them!
Make use of the moment you have with them for tomorrow might be too late!
