In many parts of the world, winter is associated with a period of dormancy in nature. Trees shed their leaves, many animals hibernate, and the overall pace of life in the natural world slows down. This can serve as a metaphor, encouraging humans to reflect on their own lives and take a break from the usual hustle and bustle. Now it is our time to reflect on the year that has passed. Last minute ideas for the Lion's Garte Portal which takes place today! you can start off your self-care evening with a spiritual bath, washing off all energies that no longer serve you. 🥰 Of course this can also be done with showering. Imagine all of the negativity being washed away. Light some incense and maybe meditate if you like to. I often use playlists and then just sit down and contemplate a bit. I just love a good mandela effect. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by everything revolving around conspiracies and mysteries. 🛸 However.. as I got down into the depths of the Mandela Effect and the countless rabbit holes there are, I was shook. 👽

Mandela effects, for all of you who do not know them: They are events or certain images, logos, song lyrics etc. that a large number of people remember to be different from what they "actually are". You could say a collective "false memory". 👀 But the people who strongly believe in these mandela effects claim that they hint to other timelines, parallel universes- and more spooky and eerie stuff.

Now, that Litha is fast approaching, I want to give you some info on what it is all about. I guess, most witches have heard of certain sabbats- but Litha is one that is not so well known. Mostly, the attention falls on Yule and Samhain and less on the other festivals. 🌻

Litha is also formerly known as the Summer Solstice. It celebrates the peak of light and is often welcomed by hosting bonfires, fire rituals or spellwork around the sun.🙂🌞The history of the festival can be debated. But Midsummer has been celebrated in different cultures all over the world ever since. In Celtic tradition, bonfires were held on hilltops to celebrate the distance between the earth and the Sun. In european countries there was a tradition to roll a wheel which was set on fire down a hill to symbolize days getting shorter from now on.

Nowadays many pagans host bonfires, celebrate with fire rituals or craft their own candles. kitchen witches might bake fruit cakes, honey cakes or make summer salads. Many covens host ceremonies in honor of the sun.

I'm beyond excited! 🔥🔥 the Wheel of the Year is turning and we are heading into summer - and the summer solstice awaits with many different opportunities to celebrate. We honor the sun in different ways. This can be with candle magic, color magick or bonfires. 🥰 Fire rituals are especially common during Litha, as the fire also has the ability to transform. Just like the season is transforming - it is the transitional period. Nature changes, and even though I do not like summer, I do like the energy that this Festival has. Moon water is created by putting water under the light of the full moon. This can mean the full moon but essentially any phase of the lunar cycle.

Some like to use it simply in magical workings such as in potions, tinctures as well as spelljars. But there is way more: You can use it to mix into paint, in ink to draw and scry and for watering your plant friends. Generally it can be used for everything you use regular water for! That is why it can also be used for teas etc. Just keep in mind to use filtered water for this purpose - and best store it in your fridge after creating it.💜

I personally also love the idea of creating my own skincare products with Moon water. so far, I have not tried it out but I will soon. It can be mixed into clay masks, but also poured into a hair mask or hair rinse as well 🌙✨ Moon water truly is a staple in magic - with good reason!

I'm so excited witches! 🥰 I made a whole video on 10 Forms of divination. Divination has always been one of the most interesting parts of witchcraft for me. I'm feeling very much drawn to Tarot and Oracle cards- but there is so much more to discover.

Some forms now are very common like the Pendulum and Runes. But there are other forms that are secret, hidden and lesser known! That means- there almost are no limits to Divination forms.
