We shot this video shortly after the outbreak of the war on Ukraine. And it was definately inspired by this.
As Hub, the composer, created a new language out of sounds we were absolutey free to create a story...

COLOR GRADER wanted for long documentary film. Hey there… we are looking for you!
For more than two years, we accompanied a young couple expecting a child on their way out of homelessness and into a flat of their own. We worked without interviews and off-text and in about 35 days of shooting we created a very intimate, closely observed film with deliberate feature film-like features.
At the moment we have a first rough cut and our goal is to complete an uncompromising film in post-production that will first be shown at festivals and later (hopefully) for example on arte. We are Heiko Aufdermauer (ex-HFF Potsdam) and Johannes Girke (ex-UdK Berlin).
Now we are looking for you: a COLOR GRADER with an interest in festival cinema and the will to give an intense documentary a subtle twist in the direction of a feature film.
So far we have produced the film without any financing – but we collected some money for post production through a startnext campaign. Therefore we can only offer the total of 1 000 € net for color grading. Work will start in octobre 2021 (picture lock). We are looking forward to your message to [email protected].
