Happy release day,
Rooted in jazz phrasing, improvisation, and syncopated rhythmics, “So Dreamed Times” blends melancholic piano with
triumphant trumpets and deep house energy. Playful, distorted vocals repeat like an autogenic training, turning fragments of a lullaby into a surreal, autobiographical reflection — an embrace of both melancholy and empowerment on the path to brighter days. This track emerges from my jazz background, where I wanted to explore phrasing, improvisation, and the textures of acoustic instruments. I began with the idea of playing with rhythms and sounds that evoke the atmosphere of a jazzy lullaby, then placed them within a deep, powerful house landscape.
Playful distorted vocals weave through the track, recalling the lullaby theme while carrying lyrics that shift between the surreal and the biographical - Luisa Rossini, a.k.a. , is a music producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. NoN project began as a jazz singer before diving into electronic production, blending downtempo, deep house, melodic techno, trip-hop, and nu-jazz. Her style merges Italian-inflected vocals, jazzy warmth, distorted tones, and surreal lyrics with layers of guitar, synths, trumpet, and piano over deep house grooves and syncopated beats. Eclectic and playful, she creates soundscapes that move from dreamy atmospheres to vibrant dance-floor energy, reflecting the diversity of her musical journey.
