Today, I stood up really early (after a week of nightshift ending yesterday morning) to see the marvelous presenting his movie "Abenteuer Türkei - Land der Gegensätze ". He gave us a great insight into this big country at the Bosporus which most of us only know from the (more or less bad) news including the area where the big earthquake this year happened. Valle raised money, more than 17.000€ for people in severe need. And he showed us the beauty this country offers, the hospitality people just randomly offered him, landscapes like painted and motorbike action. Thanks for letting us be part of your journey.

A big thanks to for your hospitality. They offered us food and drinks, the showroom was open and everyone had a pleasant stay.

And last but not least thanks to you who I met again , new people I knew online till today (.gs .gs ) and those who are new friends now

I've been to the today, was great fair where I met many people. Some I already knew like , and , but got the chance to meet new people. Didn't take photos with everyone but really appreciated the chats I had. Meeting old friends and new people is always fun for me.

Unfortunately I misses some people like or .0

On the way home I got a sh*tty surprise from above🤢 But made it home safely.

On Thursday, my MX701 Explorer broke on the highway riding 120km/h. The shield came a bit down first, then the left bolt holding it with the visor broke and immediately cracked to the back. Luckily I was able to stop safely. And thanks to they brought my bike and me home after this incident. Now I decided to buy another helmet in spare (as nobody gives one for free, ?😂) and let the LS2 being repaired/replaced.

Cleaning time it was today. After the weekend riding through slightly wet and salty roads to .bodensee and visiting a friend in Munich, it was badly needed.

Last month I bought myself the R20 backpack after my old one's zipper finally gave up. So far, the pack had some journeys with me, saw the beautiful Czech Republic, had snow, rain and sun on the way. It is a nice backpack, itnreally fits me, I like the strapping on the chest, its 20 liter size. The zippers are waterproof, although I think the whole bag is resistant (no water in yet even in heavy rain). There is space for a 3 liter hydration bladder, a lead through for the hose.
In addition, I also bought the Kriega US-10 pouch. This one is said to be fully waterproof, which I already had the chance to proof in rain and while washing the bike. You can mount it on top of the backpack, but I decided to have it as extra space on the back seat of my bike. It's attached with hooks to 4 loops on the bike, you can tighten the pack securely and regulate the space to what you need.

Unpaid advertising, I spent my own money but wanted to review the purchase. Thanks to store Augsburg for having this backpack in stock so I could get my hands on it first.

Tonight I mounted the new Works footpegs I bought at some time ago at their end of season event. I tried to mount them immediately but the measurements of the new pegs were too big for my bike, Dieter of tried too. Luckily the roadshow truck was along the event and Thomas took the pegs back to Niedereschach and send me new ones. Once you got the spring in place, there pegs fitted perfectly and do a good job now. Thanks to everyone who helped getting these pegs mounted.

Guess who's back, back again?

Got a new bike and am back on Instagram. My new ride is a R1200GS LC from 2014 in thundergrey metallic. Love this color. Now it's time for some individual stuff, already bought some flap bags and triangle bags, foot pegs, the Explorer dry duffle bag is installed and now I'm thinking about getting some motobags for my travels (no decision yet, need a pannier rack first)

1800km in 5 days, down to the Lago di Garda and back. Been to the Adriatic coast near Venezia and at Lago d'Idro. Italy was awesome and kind to me.

And finally I made it to the famous Lago di Resia with its awesome church lurking out of the lake.

Been out for the weekend to meet some old friends and get to know new ones. Was amazing, great tour of about 150km, good food and a nice stay at the hotel Gewürzmühle Berching with some beer and talks. Thanks to my friend Nadine to make this happen

On Wednesday I've been to to have a look at some goggles. With good guidance by the staff I decided to purchase the Fury LS with a transition lense. Fits perfect to my glasses and into the MX701 Explorer. Had a few kilometers but unfortunately no chance to test the light sensitivity yet. Hopefully next week!

Got a new helmet for offroad use and some other days and spare part. Chose the MX701 Explorer. Good so far, had my first ride with it today. Light, good fit and great color sheme.
