Our page is a place for people who are dedicated to professional journalism and passionate about current events in the former Soviet countries of Europe and Central Asia. We hope you enjoy discussing important issues on this page. However, in order to ensure the safety of our followers, please follow our community guidelines. We will not tolerate:
-Hate speech and pejorative or discrimin

atory language involving one’s religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnicity or any other factor pertaining to one’s identity.
-Spamming or the unsolicited dissemination of unrelated content meant for commercial advertising.
-Any forms of online bullying, including trolling or doxxing (the broadcasting of personal information for malicious intent).
-The dissemination or promotion of conspiracy theories or news that is considered to be false or misleading. By participating in our community, you are automatically agreeing to follow these guidelines and violating them will result in your comments being deleted and your profile possibly being blocked. That said, we do encourage our followers to openly express their opinions and debate with others on the political, social, cultural and economic topics we cover, and we look forward to discussing with you as well. 💙One of our Sofia workshop participants captured the experience perfectly: “The design thinking training can really change your perspective on how problems could be solved and help you overcome creative blockages.”
➡️Our recent Design Thinking training in Sofia brought together journalists and media representatives from across the region to immerse themselves in the Design Thinking process, uncovering new ways to better connect with their audiences and exploring innovative solutions to real-world challenges in media 🌍👩🏻‍💻.
As we mentioned during the training, there are now opportunities to bring your ideas to life through our Microgrants for Small Newsrooms grant program. The deadline for submitting your proposal is ⏰17 December 2024.

The event featured an insightful panel discussion with leading experts from Prg.ai, Demagog.cz, and Aignos, exploring the transformative potential of AI in seniors' lives. Together with Elpida, we launched the 'Senior Expert AI' group, aimed at implementing practical AI solutions in seniors' daily routines.
Our video captures the event's highlights, showcasing how seniors are embracing modern technology with enthusiasm and purpose. All of this was made possible thanks to Google

Let's take a look at what the project OVĚŘOVNA! NA VLASTNÍ KŮŽI in České Budějovice looked like. A group of seniors, guided by instructors from iROZHLAS, Elpida, and Transitions, had the opportunity to try their hand at uncovering disinformation. This type of event has taken place several times before and in various cities across the Czech Republic.
