Then the parade will head towards the direction of Sta. Helena, Wishi / Marchena where the second stop will be at Plasa Hariri. From there the parade will continue towards the direction of F.D. Rooseveltweg with the third and final stop at Venezuelaweg. From there the parade will continue to the final destination at the Roundabout from Cost U Less at 19:00.

Gedurende de komende 24 uur zullen meer wolken tot ontwikkeling komen boven onze regio als gevolg van een storing boven het Caribisch Gebied. Uit deze wolken zullen van tijd tot tijd enkele buien vallen op ons eiland, met kans op onweer. Verder zullen zware buien opnieuw tot enige wateroverlast leiden. Indien nodig, zal de Meteorologische Dienst speciale berichten voor zware onweersbuien uitgeven

Activity is again increasing across the region as a big area of showers and thunderstorms gradually nears the local area from the east. In the coming hours the activity will be spreading towards the west and it will first reach Bonaire, then Curaçao and finally Aruba. Before that, some isolated activity can already take place such as the activity currently over the northern tip of Aruba. This means that the activity will be spreading over the islands through the night into the morning hours. Lee is rapidly intensifying; expected to become a category 5 hurricane!
¡Lee intensificándose rápidamente; Se espera que se convierta en un huracán de categoría 5!
Lee is now a category 2 hurricane and is about to become a category 3 hurricane as it rapidly continues to strengthen over the Atlantic basin. Models still thankfully have the system missing the Caribbean. Lee is now expected to become a category 5 hurricane in the next 2 days. It would be the seventh category 5 hurricane since 2016: Matthew (2016), Irma (2017), Maria (2017), Michael (2018), Dorian (2019), Lorenzo (2019) and Ian (2022).
Besides Lee, we now also have the Tropical Depression 14, which is expected to become the Tropical Storm Margot. The system affected the Cape Verde islands with heavy rainfall and gusty winds and it is now moving away towards the open waters of the Atlantic where it should gradually strengthen and also become a hurricane.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. Central Tropical Atlantic (AL96):
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with
a broad area of low pressure located a little less than 1000 miles
east-northeast of the Leeward Islands. Environmental conditions are
forecast to be marginally favorable for gradual development of this
system during the next few days, and a tropical depression is likely
to form during the early part of this week. The system is expected
to move northwestward at about 15 mph during the next day or so, and
then turn northward over the central subtropical Atlantic by late
Monday or Tuesday.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...high...70 percent.

2. Off the Carolina Coast:
Shower and thunderstorm activity has increased in association with a
trough of low pressure that recently emerged off the Carolina
coastline, and is currently located about 100 miles south of
Wilmington, North Carolina. Environmental conditions appear
generally favorable for some additional development over the next
day or two as the system gradually accelerates east-northeastward
into the northwestern Atlantic ocean. Afterwards, this system is
likely to merge with a frontal boundary.

CONDITIES WORDEN VERWACHT TE DUREN VANAF VRIJDAG, 23 JUNI 2023, 00:00 L.T. TOT

VERWACHTE EFFECTEN:
Deining en/of sterke wind kunnen voor ruwe zee aan de kust zorgen;
Brandingsgolven kunnen schade aan kleine vaartuigen veroorzaken, indien deze
zich vlak aan zee bevinden;
Door het onder water lopen van kustgebieden kunnen strandfaciliteiten schade
oplopen.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN:
Zeelieden met kleine vaartuigen wordt verzocht om voorzichtig te zijn,
wanneer zij onder deze omstandigheden gaan varen;
Aangezien het onderlopen van kustgebieden mogelijk is, wordt eigenaars van
kustfaciliteiten aangeraden om deze, waar mogelijk, te beschermen;
Zwemmers wordt aangeraden voorzichtig te zijn en zich niet ver uit de kust
te begeven.

DEFINITIES:

Een Speciaal Bericht wordt uitgegeven voor weersverschijnselen, die
ongebruikelijk zijn, algemeen ongemak of bezorgdheid bij de bevolking
veroorzaken (waarbij de aandacht en actie van brandweer en politieautoriteiten
noodzakelijk zijn) en niet op een geschikte manier in een reguliere
weersverwachting kunnen worden beschreven.

Een Voorzorgsmededeling in verband met Ruwe Zee is een aankondiging voor wanneer
ruwe zee mogelijk (10 tot 30% kans) is in de komende 8 tot 24 uur.

A CAUTIONARY STATEMENT (CODE YELLOW) FOR ROUGH SEAS IS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHERN
AND EASTERN COASTAL SECTIONS OF CURAÇAO

******FORECAST ANALYSIS INDICATES THE DEVELOPMENT OF ROUGH SEA CONDITIONS THAT
MAY BE A THREAT TO COASTAL SECTIONS OF CURAÇAO******

CONDITIONS EXPECTED TO LAST FROM FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2023, 00:00 L.T. TILL
SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 2023, 12:00 L.T.

EXPECTED IMPACT:
Swells and/or strong winds will cause coastal waters to be rough;
Breakers are likely to damage small craft, if left onshore, close to the
water line;
Coastal flooding is expected to cause damage to beach facilities.

PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
Mariners operating small vessels are advised to exercise caution when
navigating in these conditions;
Since coastal flooding is possible, owners of coastal facilities are urged
to protect their property where this is possible;
Swimmers are advised to exercise caution and not to venture far from shore.

DEFINITIONS:

A Special Bulletin is issued for weather events that are unusual, cause general
inconvenience or public concern (requiring the attention and action of fire
department and police authorities) and cannot adequately be described in a
regular weather forecast.

A Cautionary Statement for Rough Seas is an announcement when rough sea
conditions are possible (probability of 10 to 30%) within the following 8 to 24
hours.

The line starting with CONDITIONS EXPECTED TO LAST FROM gives an approximation
of the period of the hazardous condition.

St. Lucia.

SUMMARY OF WATCHES AND WARNINGS IN EFFECT:

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for...
* Barbados
* Dominica
* St. Lucia

A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are
possible within the watch area, generally within 48 hours.

Interests elsewhere in the Lesser Antilles should monitor the
progress of Bret. Additional tropical storm watches will likely be
required for other islands later tonight.

For storm information specific to your area, please monitor
products issued by your national meteorological service.


DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 800 PM AST (0000 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Bret was
located near latitude 12.4 North, longitude 49.5 West. Bret is
moving toward the west near 18 mph (30 km/h), and this general
motion is expected to continue for the next several days. On the
forecast track, the center of Bret is expected move across portions
of the Lesser Antilles Thursday afternoon and Thursday night, and
then move across the eastern Caribbean Sea on Friday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.
Strengthening is forecast during the next day or so, and Bret is
expected to be a tropical storm when it reaches the Lesser Antilles
Thursday and Thursday night.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).

WIND: Tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch
area by Thursday.

RAINFALL: Through Saturday morning, storm total rainfall amounts of
4 to 6 inches with maximum amounts of 10 inches are possible across
portions of the Lesser Antilles from Guadeloupe southward to St.
Lucia. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible across
Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The heavy rainfall
could lead to flash flooding, especially across areas of higher
terrain. Isolated urban flooding is also possible.

of the Lesser Antilles Thursday afternoon and Thursday night, and
then move across the eastern Caribbean Sea on Friday.

1. Eastern Tropical Atlantic (AL93):
Shower and thunderstorm activity has diminished during the past
several hours in association with a tropical wave located several
hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. However,
environmental conditions appear conducive for further development
of this system, and a tropical depression will likely form during
the next couple of days while the system moves westward at 10 to 15
mph across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic.
