🇵🇸The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says the Israeli military has opened fire on a convoy of ambulances, accompanied by UN vehicles, in the Gaza Strip, as the occupying regime continues its brutal assault against the besieged enclave.

😢The PRCS made the remarks in a statement posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, saying six of its ambulances came under attack as they were transporting critically injured patients in Gaza. “The Palestine Red Crescent Society coordinated with the United Nations to evacuate 11 casualties in critical condition last night from Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City to the hospital in the south of the Strip,” it said, adding that one of the injured died before receiving any treatment following the Israeli attack.

The World Health Organization’s 34-member executive board has adopted a resolution calling for immediate, unimpeded aid deliveries to Gaza. “Gaza’s health system is on its knees and collapsing,” said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, with only 14 of 36 hospitals functioning at any capacity.

The emergency action, proposed by Afghanistan, Qatar, Yemen and Morocco, seeks passage into Gaza for medical personnel and supplies, requires the WHO to document violence against healthcare workers and patients, and to secure funding to rebuild hospitals.

🇮🇱The Israeli military has released a video purportedly showing alleged Hamas fighters arrested at the Jabalia refugee camp In the video, one man is seen walking towards a soldier and handing over a rifle, in his left hand, and a hand gun to his right. But it appears that the clip was staged, with a slightly different second version also appearing online, raising questions about the video’s authenticity.

🙀It also emerged that the person in the video is a well-known man in Gaza, who owns an aluminum workshop, and who was allegedly kidnapped in a different town in northern Gaza.

🇵🇪Former Peruvian president Pedro Castillo has demanded his immediate release and reinstatement, marking one year since his provisional detention on charges of rebellion and conspiracy.

🗣On December 7, 2022, Castillo announced the dissolution of Congress and the establishment of a government to rule by decree. This move received no support from any party or the military. Subsequently, he was removed by the Legislature and arrested while heading to the Mexican embassy. Castillo was later sent to prison with a provisional detention valid up to 2025.

🕊At the United Nations, analysts say that Friday’s vote at the UN Security Council brings the number of times that the U.S. has used its veto power in support of Israel to at least 40. It also was the second U.S. veto since the Israeli war of aggression on Gaza began, after the country blocked an October 18th resolution that would have condemned Hamas’s attack on Israel while calling for a pause in the fighting to allow humanitarian aid into the Palestinian enclave.

🇵🇸The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees warns civil order is “breaking down” in the Gaza Strip as Israel continues its unrelenting assault. In one of the latest attacks, dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured as Israeli warplanes struck near the al-Amal Hospital and the Palestinian Red Crescent’s headquarters in Khan Younis.

🩺In Gaza City, Doctors Without Borders reports 115 Palestinians were brought to the Al-Aqsa Hospital Thursday dead on arrival. The medical charity said in a statement: “The hospital is full, the morgue is full. We call on Israeli Forces to stop the indiscriminate bombing of the Gaza Strip and protect civilians and civilian infrastructure. We need a ceasefire now.”

😢Video has emerged showing Israeli soldiers in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza detaining over 100 Palestinian men at gunpoint, forcing them to strip to their underwear while lined up, kneeling on the pavement.

🗣Hamas has said that Israel bombed Gaza’s medieval Omari Mosque, causing widespread destruction to the landmark site, and urged UNESCO to protect historic buildings in the besieged Palestinian territory.

📸Footage and images posted on social media by the Palestinian group on Friday appeared to show the Great Omari Mosque, the largest and oldest in Gaza City, reduced to rubble. Only the minaret appeared to be intact, with the surroundings shattered. The site has been a Christian or Muslim holy site since at least the fifth century.

😢International human rights organizations say Israeli strikes that killed a journalist and injured six others in southern Lebanon must be investigated as a war crime.

🕵‍♂️Separate investigations by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International determined Israel’s military fired artillery at journalists near the border on October 13. Reuters journalist Issam Abdallah, 37, was killed instantly in the strike. The others present — two more Reuters journalists, two from Al Jazeera, and two from AFP — were all injured. AFP photographer Christina Assi, 28, was seriously wounded. She later had a leg amputated and is still in hospital.

🇵🇸Images from Gaza circulating on social media Thursday showed a mass detention by the Israeli military of men who were made to strip to their underwear, kneel on the street, wear blindfolds and pack into the cargo bed of a military vehicle.

🙀The exact circumstances and dates of the detentions are unclear, but some of the detainees’ identities were confirmed by colleagues or family members.

🙅‍♂️At least some of the men are civilians with no known affiliation to militant groups, according to a conversation CNN had with one of their relatives and a statement by one of their employers, a news network.

🇺🇸The United States has supplied Israel with more than 10,000 tons of military equipment since the beginning of the occupying regime’s war on the besieged Gaza Strip, says Tel Aviv, which ceaselessly drops bombs on the densely-populated Palestinian territory.

🇮🇱In a statement on Wednesday, Israel’s ministry of military affairs said that the 200th cargo plane, since October 11, carrying military equipment for the army had arrived from the U.S. in Israel. “Since then, over 10,000 tons of military equipment was delivered to Israel since the beginning of the war,” it said.

🗣Volker Turk told a press conference Wednesday that some 1.9 million displaced Palestinians are being forced into smaller and smaller pockets of southern Gaza. The conditions are “overcrowded” and “unsanitary,” he said.

😢An Al Jazeera employee has lost 22 members of his family in an Israeli air attack on the home in which they were sheltering in the Gaza Strip. The family members of Moamen Al Sharafi, a correspondent for Al Jazeera Arabic, were killed early on Wednesday morning at Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

🙀Al Sharafi’s parents Mahmoud and Amina, his siblings and their spouses, as well as nephews and nieces were among those killed. Al Sharafi told Al Jazeera an explosive barrel hit the home, causing a deep crater in the ground.

🇮🇱Israeli forces continue their relentless bombing campaign against the Palestinian enclave of Gaza. The Zionist war machine is purposefully targetting hospitals and medical facilities in southern Gaza, in and around Rafah.

👨‍⚕️“The number of wounded being brought to the hospital is massive. Doctors and paramedics have not been able to save them all,” one doctor said, describing the intensity of the attacks and noting that “it is very dangerous for people to leave for either the north or the south. At the same time, conditions here are very harsh. There is no food in the markets. Even the little food that was once available is not any more since the centre has been split off from the south.”

🇵🇸The situation in health centers in southern Gaza is catastrophic, the manager of one of the few hospitals still operating in Rafah told Reuters in an interview on Monday.

👨‍⚕️Marwan Alhams, of the Al-Najjar Hospital, said that doctors were unable to treat patients because of a lack of medicine and personnel.
