I think I have always been into fitness in some way, shape or form. I enjoy going to the gym, I love yoga, and riding a bike down the river pathway or up some hills is my jam!

But, sometimes I get stuck in a rut and don’t want to do it. I feel like I’m getting out of my rut and excited to go back to the gym each day!

Back in November, when I went to Puebla, I was on a lovely walk in Las Zapotecas. It’s like a big hill area great for hiking and other sports. As I got to the top of one of the sections, I was invited to try mountain boarding behind a quad driven by 6 or 7 year olds. 🤣🤣
I almost didn’t do it. But, something in me said, “Why the hell not?” I’m so glad I did! I met and talked to some cool people and tried something new!

What are you doing to invest in yourself?

It’s something we should always be doing. Whether that be self-care, learning a new skill, making time for your health and being active, spending money on a course or book that can provide great value, we all need to invest each day.

We’re always changing. So we’re never done learning either. We need to be refreshing how we invest in ourselves to that we can always go forwards.

When one door closes another doesn’t always just open. We have to actively go searching for the new door, have the intention and make the effort to open it if we want something else.

We need to get out of old habits and step into new ones.

One thing I wish I could have more of for fair prices is fresh seafood. So much is sent for exportation and it’s quite pricey in restaurants when you’re watching a budget. Today I decided to indulge in a yummy tuna salad. It was so good!

Yesterday I went to the farmers market. It’s my weekly Friday event. I enjoy going to chat with locals and some expats who are now local! One of the vendors was selling fresh and organic pineapple tumeric juice directly from their farm. It is super delicious!

I love knowing where my food and products come from. The closet they are to us often can mean healthier too. Those things are important to me.

A friend shared this quote in her social media stories about change that came unexpectedly last week for her.

It reminded me of how I have always struggled with change. I have struggled with it in my work, friendships, personal relationships and even in personal goals that I have for myself.

This time, I am working to learn from change and encourage it. It feels so freeing when you finally allow it to happen and then you wonder...why did I wait so long?

I have always had such a big problem with worrying. About things from the past, about how the future could turn out. Really, things are going to turn out how they do whether I spend my time worrying about them or not.

I am making a conscious effort to have more HAPPY in my life! Spend less time in the worry lane!
