This song, co-written and performed by Barbara Cueto, is from the original soundtrack of a movie in Virtual Reality format that Joe Cueto wrote the screenplay and composed the original sountrack for, and which Claudio Lai directed and produced--The Wall VR (Although these clips are in 2d format). The movie in 360 is ground breaking. All the music was produced at El Adobe, as well as one scene. The Wall VR is currently being screened or judged at film festivals around the world, including Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival. We are very proud of our in house talent at El Adobe including Barry Anderson and Ted Kelly who were invaluable during the shooting and post production of this film.

Juan Gabriel fue amigo y colaborador de Joe Cueto/Violectrika y Barbara Cueto por más de 30 años. Cuando de repente nos dejó el año pasado dejó a mucha gente en el mundo muy entristecidos. Joe y Barbara co-escribieron esta canción, Otra Vez Te Besare, con una mujer inmigrante que tuvo que dejar su hogar y familia en México por necesidad extrema. Creemos que expresa bien el sentimiento de pérdida y confusión que todos sentimos durante las transiciones más tristes de la vida y por lo tanto dedicamos esta canción a nuestro amigo Juan Gabriel/Alberto Aguilera Valadez y a todos los que inesperadamente tuvieron que dejar el hogar y la familia.

Congratulations to El Adobe friend, and one of the world's greatest cellist's, Zuill Bailey for his recent Grammy wins!! We loved hearing the winning piece up close and personal in the studio recently for the Pro Musica concert at which Zuill performed to honor our late friend and Pro Musica supporter/El Adobe founder J.O. Stewart. Stay tuned as we hope to have Zuill and his musical genius back at the studio soon. YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!!

A Blast From The Past! Just found this on Youtube. A reminder of a wonderful time recording with our favorite Latin Superstar Juan Gabriel. Juan hired the El Adobe Team to produce this amazing tribute to composer Luis Arcaraz. We had a great time recording with Juanga. Joe (Jose) Cueto and Juan did all the arrangements; Barbara Cueto, Charlie Miller, Diane Gutierrez, Chris Hale, Rosie Romo, and David Robleto, along with Juanga, did all the Vocals, (El Grupo Tributo he called us, as we went on to record other tributes). And various other of our El Paso musician friends participated in the recording. He presented this in concerts and on TV, including this appearance on Siempre en Domingo. He mentions the El Adobe team in the interview segment. Gracias Juan!

At the smallest level of our beings, beyond atoms and even quarks, we are composed of tiny vibrating strands of energy. Essentially vibrating strands of sound. This is the basis for string theory. I like to call myself a music composer, but, quite literally, music composes us. Everything we see and even everything we don't. So the entire endeavor of making music is really at it's heart the pursuit of getting as close as we can to what we truly are at the most basic of levels. What makes us human and at the same time everything that doesn't. Music is the language of the universe. And I find that thought to be unbelievably beautiful.-Nicholas Cueto

“I love the El Adobe Recording Studio”... “It is a great place to record – so big, but warm at the same time – and I love the architecture.” (El Paso Inc.) World Famous Piano Prodigy Emily Bear on recording and performing at El Adobe. Emily recorded tracks for her Diversity CD with famed cellist Zuill Bailey at our place and also perfomed, together with Zuill, a concert for Pro Musica here in our massive Room A. I guess she should know! Her Producer/Manager is none other than the legendary music mogul Quincy Jones. And Emily has performed before rapt audiences around the world, at Carnegie Hall, The White House, and even the Ellen Degeneres show :) The best part of all, she's a really sweet young lady, which makes one wonder: Does she even know how wonderful she is?! We consider it a great honor that Emily feels at home, as we do, here in our adobe studio. Thanks Emily!!
