🌸Spring Cleaning 🧺Whitening and Refreshing Sheets and Towels🧺
Spring Cleaning touches every part of the house..including the linen closet. I like to give sheets and towels a refresh each season. Add sheets and towels to the washing machine. Add ½ cup baking soda into the detergent dispenser and ½ cup vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser. Then wash on the hottest setting possible and dry as usual. If you have a top loader, sprinkle baking soda over towels and add vinegar right before the rinse cycle. Towels and sheets come out refreshed and white as can be! Happy Spring Cleaning! 🧺XO Babs
🧼Babs Homemade Window solution (see below) 🧼Spring Cleaning! Windows 🧼
Cleaning Windows is a Springtime ritual. It is time to open those windows and let all that Spring air in! But first…cleaning. Here is my sure-fire way to have beautiful streak-free windows with little effort:
🧼 Step One. Vacuum the window sill. And if it needs a good wipe down, do that too. There is nothing worse than opening a window to get some good old fresh air and being greeted with a sill of dirt and grime.
🧼 Step Two. Make my DIY Window Solution. Combine the following ingredients into a clean spray bottle and get to work!
DIY Window Cleaning Solution.
1 cup distilled water
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1/2 cup vinegar
🧼 Step Three. Spray the windows, let the solution sit for a bit and then use a coffee filter, newspaper, old t-shirt or a microfiber rag to wipe the solution.
🧼 Step Four. Make sure to wash your windows on a cloudy day or in the evening so that the solution does not dry too fast and create streaks! Also always wait until the pollen falls to start the job!

🧼Spring Cleaning the Babs’ Way🧼
Get energized for Spring Cleaning with your favorite playlist or soundtrack.
🧺Before you begin - declutter. Designate a basket for each member of the family. Place any items that belong to that member of the family in that basket and it is up to that person to put away all that is in the basket.
🧹Gather all your cleaning supplies into a handy caddy that can travel everywhere in the house with you (and don’t forget those trash bags!)
🫧When tackling any room..think…TOP TO BOTTOM AND LEFT TO RIGHT. Start at the doorway…work your way around the room. Start at the top..dust all the molding around the room, the ceiling fan or light fixture and don’t forget those air vents. Then onto the middle…wash your windows, dust your furniture, spot clean the walls, dust around farms and molding.. and then finally move on to the bottom of the room..the baseboards, floors and floor coverings.

What did your mother teach you about style? In honor of Mother’s Day, my Daughter-in-Law, Granddaughter, and I are sharing what we learned about being stylish and fashionable from our mothers!
👗Grace: My mother always told me to - stay crisp! Don’t look like you just rolled out of bed!
Don’t have time to iron? Just pop the garment in the dryer with 4-5 ice cubes and dry for 10-15 minutes.
👗Jen: My mother always told me to - stay clean! Look in a mirror!
Stain emergency? Try my no fail stain remover. Just mix:
1 tbsp baking soda

I can’t believe summer is almost over and the holidays are just around the corner! The thought is so stressful! But guess what? I’ve got 3 tips to help tackle holiday planning NOW, to save you stress LATER. I’m not even getting out of my comfy @Carter’s PJ’s to do it! XO, Babs #Sponsored
First, start your shopping as soon as possible so you can take advantage of sales! Once those gifts start coming, hide them in spots people don’t tend to look, like the luggage you’re not using!
Second, wrap your gifts using a different style of wrapping paper for each member of your family. This will avoid mix ups, you won’t need tags for every gift AND you get a sense of how many gifts each family member has to unwrap. So important with kids!
Now is also the time to start thinking of those holiday cards! I like sending out cards with matching PJs. So, I’m going to schedule that photo now. Check out @Carters Christmas in July Sale July 25th & 26th to snag the first of many new holiday family PJs in sizes for the entire family, and follow along with @Carters as they launch the rest of their adorable new holiday PJ prints! So, get in front of the holidays so you can enjoy them when they arrive! #christmasinjuly
