For the sixteenth output, Marguerite Records is glad to present a new compilation. The A side marks the eclectic label shadow: ‘Condizione Umana’ by Italian Massacres, the duo composed by Violet Poison and Davide Pestillo, opens the release with an enigmatic VHS-tinged composition, sci-fi b-movie soundtracks inspired. A2 ’Zezuru’, a giant cinematic drone wrapped in distorted percussion by LIES affiliated German Army followed up by ‘Drone Thugs & Harmonies’, a slow tempo psychedelic-dub from Dutch’s Galactic Funk owner Bertram. Closing up the first side is ‘Solar’, an authentic electro full speed track by the Croatian musician and sound engineer Zarkoff. ‘Lies in Disguise’ has an obscure synth bass sequence and textured vocals by KRI affiliated the duo Black Dot and opens up the second side, followed up by ‘Cage’, produced by the Italian New-Beat master Unconscious. After that, Florence's Synth-Punk band Zona Utopica Garantita maintains the old-school vein with ‘Lifetime Shock’. The release is closed by the firework-ish beats of ‘Tory Gloryhole’ by Autumns.

After passing through Ombra Festival (2022), the legendary 80's band, Days of Sorrow, reemerged from its slumber to once again be at the head of the synth wave artists of the moment. It is for this reason and for its legendary legacy that Banshees Records has decided to give another twist to the songs of the German group with this double vinyl of remixes featuring internationally renowned artists such as David Carretta, Black Merlin and Skelesys.
“Days of Sorrow, The Remixes” is the 14th release from the Spanish label and on this double vinyl the band's anthem songs are reviewed, such as “Firestar”, produced by the label's boss, Israel Padilla, and performed by the Madrid artist. From Hell, “Travel”, reinterpreted in an electronic key by Synths Versus Me (Oráculo Records) and by the Valencian Spammerheads, “Wild World”, covered by both the Catalan producer based in Tuscany, Love The Machine, and by his Argentine counterpart based in Berlin, Skelesys, or “A Thousand Faces”, a track that has the review of Carretta, Parissior and JG Outsider and “Shadows”, a song that has the imprint of the aforementioned Black Merlin, the Italian Chris Shape and two more artists like Alpha Sect and Carlos GrabStein.
“Days of Sorrow, The Remixes” is a double LP where the German band's own sound is reinterpreted, giving it a more electronic touch, focused largely on the dance floor. An album that will be essential in any DJ's collection.
A little history: Days of Sorrow knew how to carve out a niche for themselves in the new wave of new wave bands of the 80's despite not having much production. Their first album, "Remembering The Days", is a 12-inch with 4 unique pieces, released in 1984. The group has recently released “Soulmate Sister”, their comeback in album form. Currently Days of Sorrow has two original members, William Lennox (vocals) and Andre Schreiber (bass, guitar) who have been joined by their friend and producer of their demos Frank Junge (keyboards).

A-Tweed is the moniker of Ant De Oto, Italian dj/producer based in Rome. His music is an essential smoothie of acid weird downbeats, dark electronics, EBM, cosmic disco, electro, tribal techno and goodies of global music at 360 °. His DJ sets have no bpm limits, ranging from slow lysergic and industrial rhythms to UK-style tribal breaks. In 2020/2021 he released on the French label Hard Fist and on the Argentine Playground Records, with remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue, Pigmalião and Fabrizio Mammarella, among others.
New music out in 2022 via Feines Tier (Germany), SABI (Japan), Electric Shapes (Lithuania), Duro (Mexico), Inside Out (UK) and many more, including remixes by Carrot Green, Lucas Croon, CAIN, etc.
He is resident with his "Coal & Ash Circuit" show on Radio Alhara (Bethlehem, Palestine).
A-Tweed also has two sides projects like the tribal techno duo OBLAKO MARANTA with the Russian producer Andrey Redkov from Radial Gaze and A-TWEED X OLTREFUTURO with italian producer and sound engineer Valerio Ebert, focusing on weird slow beats and acid wonky techno out on Fauna Rêve and Multi Culti.
A new collaboration with Mozambican artist Nandele was released in April 2023 via the infamous techno label TRESOR.

P. U. aka The Transient Mind has been very active in the Vienna underground scene since more than a decade. He's resident on Vienna's RES Radio, where he frequently invites locals and worldwide selectors to share his slots. He also has been booker for the Aufwind Festival, and hosted events like Hope X and NNNN among others.

Maturre guys found out that he, apart of his dj business, was also creating his own music, as many short tracks were posted on his soundcloud, incognito. Raw atmospheres, naive. It couldnt stay forever frozen there. They got contact to ask him if he'd be interested in finishing those sketches in the perspective of having a release on their imprint. After monthes of work, here's "In hindsight, it may not have gone the way you hoped, but when it's all over, you will be fine", the first ever album of A Transient Mind.

returns to the label with the release of his second EP, ‘Lights Off’.
Ukraine DJ and producer follows last year’s ‘101A’ EP uses his love for UK club styles and soundsystem culture as a jump-off point for three mutated dancefloor slammers. The hallmarks that have shaped his sound to date are all here; nimble breaks and beefy sub bass plumes underpin glitchy melodies for an effect that’s as light as it is propulsive.

Starting off proceedings on the EP is the title track ‘Killah Tape’ establishes his sonic palette from the outset, with driving, high-energy drum work alongside stretched vocals chops.
Next up is ‘Hoodlum’, which layers breaks and throbbing grooves under an otherworldly, warped vocal for create dark, intense atmospheres.
While third track ‘Cave Walk’ slows the tempo to 107 bpm for a writhing techno-dancehall hybrid with weighty with some off-kilter synths and bass wobbles, it’s a testament to PVLV’s knack for a subtle curveball.

Barcelona-based creative platform ABUNDANCE is set to release their highly anticipated first compilation ‘FLORILEGI I’. Meaning a ‘collection of flowers’ in Catalan, this series of works aims to shed light on some of the most exciting sounds coming out of the city’s multi-faceted musical ecosystem.

From B4MBA’s industrial dancehall version ‘Charmed Riddim’ and the driving, hardware-heavy techno of ‘H13’ by ellian, the modular tension and release in glxgls’ ‘Brr Brr’, to the dubbed out two-step of ‘cute nenas love groovin’’ by AINES & ALVVA. In a fusion of science and sound, Kalocain's debut vinyl release, "Genetic Memory," unfolds an eerie tale. "W.N.G." opens a portal to an ancient world, where forgotten tongues unveil cryptic secrets. "Ivermectin" delves into the surreal realms of molecular melodies, as if sonic DNA deciphers sound's enigmas. Remixes from Normal 4, Patricia Kokett, and Jacques Satre reshape the auditory cosmos with a dash of the bizarre.

To amplify the weirdness, Evaldas Bubinas aka Hermandrowing, concocts mind-bending artwork, beckoning listeners into a realm where sound and art meld in uncanny harmony.

198319831983's EBM-ish take on a cult Yugoslavian 80s post industrial track.

The new Kri record goes back to the buzzing 1980s in Yugoslavia, where numerous art projects, including bands such as Laibach, were testing the censorship and unity of the Communist Party. One such project was a punk and later post-punk/industrial band called O! Kult which took a hard stance against bureaucracy, technocracy and alienation. Their test was successful as it brought censorship and surveillance by the state and media authorities.

O! Kult’s late industrial-ish period started in the second half of the 80s after Brane Zorman experienced the British Summer of Love firsthand. The track Zvestoba (Loyalty) has never been officially released until now. Kri Records are bringing the track to life after digging it out of the cult Radio Študent archives.

The track and its mystical vibe have been reimagined by Silent Servant, Christian Kroupa (1/2 of Black Dot) and 198319831983, adding fresh EBM, electro and melancholic techno edge to the record.
