Universal Production Music
Is part of Universal Music Group / Universal Music Publishing Group. Working with Production Music/Library Music. Precleared music for Licensing and synchronize in film, TV productions, all social media, and other digital usages.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the Universal Production Music global management and Managing Director of Universal Music Publishing China, you will be driving the growth strategy of China and leading the UPM China team.
* Build strong relationships with content creation companies. With specific targeting to broadcast, advertising, streaming clients.
* Responsibility for brand strategy, business growth and operational strategy of UPM China.
* Oversee Digital Marketing strategy working closely with the International Marketing team
* Oversee the business development and set sales strategy for the team
* Ability to obtain, maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients and customers.
* Creating and managing budgets and P&L; analyzing accounting and financial data

• Strong negotiation & sales skills
• A deep understanding of marketing principles
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell in new ideas to the business
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in, either Music, Entertainment and/or a Digital Media business in China
• Confidence exercising independent responsibility, judgement & discretion
• Strategic thinker – able to identify and deliver what is required to meet an end goal
• Good communicator – Able to get your message understood clearly as appropriate to the audience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in English
• Experience in customer support
• Previous experience working within a global company is preferred.
• A love of music across the decades is a bonus
