【 Product Survey: Home Assistant IR Device Upgrade 】

Given the lack of infrared devices on the market that are well-supported by Home Assistant, we are planning to upgrade the eRemote firmware to fully integrate with Home Assistant. Key features include:

1) Local IR Code Storage: The infrared codes for devices supported by eRemote will be stored locally on the device. Home Assistant will only need to send a command to eRemote, which will then send the IR code to the appliance. No need to configure complex IR code learning within Home Assistant.

2) IR to Mqtt: Configure the Mqtt Broker already added in Home Assistant directly within eRemote for easier control.

3) Automatic Device Discovery: All locally added IR devices through the LinknLink App will be automatically discovered in Home Assistant’s Mqtt integration, no manual setup required.
