My NEWF Summit/Congress was an enriching and inspiring one.

The NEWF - Nature Environment & Wildlife Filmmakers 2024 Summit and Congress gathered together fellows, industry experts, scientists, explorers, funders and investors from Africa and around the globe.

I learnt so much from Story development, story mapping, research, pitching, producing, shots and many more.
It was a one week experience filled with learning, networking and fun.

I am excited about my future as a filmmaker creating a path to conservation.

I am inspired to support more young women gain skills in media digital technology like camera operation, editing, sound operation, and lighting. In Cameroon, the percentage of women is this field is so invisible and thereby dominated by the male gender. Let's create a balance.
Through January to February, I have been able to support 5 girls gain skills in storytelling and the technical aspects of media.

Infinite Smiles

One of our project this year was to set up a library in one of the orphanage in Cameroon and by God’s grace we achieved this.

One of our objectives is to promote quality education and we are doing this by encouraging the culture of reading among children.
From this first library by Infinite Smiles cause, we hope this be a first step to more libraries in orphanages in Cameroon. We are glad to start with Luc Menorah in which 70% of the children are physically challenged. Inclusion is my priority in everything I engaged in.

Infinite Smiles is a cause/charity movement that aims to spread kindness and make humanity smiles. We will be grateful for donations and partnerships that will strengthen our outreach and impacts.

I have a mixed feeling this project we have been working on for the past two years with 30 journalists, 20 young adults, and 10 community leaders is ending. It was an enriching experience that I wish it wasn't ending now. I have been engaged as Communications Officer in this project “Community Journalism” which aims to strengthen the journalistic structure and enhance the return of peace.
We (Draufsicht Bamenda) engaged the participants in several workshops, article writing, film production, radio programs, and Letter from Bamenda which captures the experiences of people living in this region. We were able to reach over 50,000 people indirectly.

The project has ended but the network stands strong for future projects and more impacts.

Awesome August🌻

There is love in “sharity”
I believe the world can be better than what we experience now and we only have to be proactive to contribute to changing narratives. I believe kindness and love can make the world a better place for everyone.

We plan and asked God to bless the initiative and He made everything possible. So glad to facilitate back-to-school for children in the community who live in an orphanage. We provided necessary school materials with support from Supportive Sisters USA. I feel so fulfilled leading this initiative to spread infinite smiles to humanity.

Happy World Humanitarian Day

We can all make the world a better place for everyone if we are kind enough to humanity. Let’s forget our differences and embrace each other.
Through Infinite Smiles, we have as one of our projects to set up a library in orphanages. Today while shopping for some books, I came across this book and this happen to be the message for this year’s humanitarian day. I am glad the children will be able to read this.

For the past three months, I have been engaged in learning and practicing how to tell African stories, gaining skills on digital storytelling from YEBOVERSITY 2022.

I am so delighted this has come to an end and I emerged as one of the winners, I was awarded best video.

As my final project, I am glad to tell the story of Nde Lovert nde of farm who practices climate-smart agriculture to fight climate change that has caused low-farm yield and food insecurity.

Kindness doesn’t only mean sharing materially , it means more.
Kindness is giving a hug to someone who feels lonely.
Kindness is when you give a listening ears to someone.
Kindness is when you smile at others.
Kindness is making someone feel hopeful about life.
Kindness is saying courage to someone who’s struggling.
Kindness is telling someone it is well when there seems to be no way.
Kindness is when you help boast someone self esteem.
Kindness is cracking a joke that makes someone laugh and forget whatever he or she may be going through.
Kindness is when you compliment someone.
Kindness is when you comfort and appreciate the people around you.
Kindness is empathy.

So today I went into God's presence to seek blessing and wisdom to officially carry this initiative to the world.
