Allow me to introduce the esteemed Batonnier Mbah Eric Mba,the distinguished President of the Cameroon Bar Association.

A gentle soul with an exceptional intellect, he has mastered the Queen’s language and embodies wisdom, intelligence, and dedication. Under his visionary leadership, the Cameroon Bar Association has undergone remarkable transformations. After years of frustration, the long-awaited bar exams were finally launched, breathing new life into the legal profession.

Batonnier Mbah Eric Mba is not only a lover of all his colleagues but also a humble and down-to-earth leader. His unwavering commitment to serving his people, his country, and the bar association is evident in every decision he makes. With him at the helm, our bar association has reached unprecedented heights, ensuring that justice is served and that the rights of all lawyers are protected.

As the watchman of the private bar, he stands as a guardian of justice, ensuring that the rule of law is respected and upheld in all our courts. He tirelessly works with government authorities and the Minister of Justice to ensure that a law school is established in Cameroon in the nearest future—a goal he is resolutely pursuing with determination.

Under his guidance, all actors in the justice system are working together to serve justice for all, particularly for the common man.

His dedication to his role has not only elevated the Cameroon Bar Association domestically but also internationally. Through his efforts, the association has gained global recognition, organizing training workshops for both new and seasoned lawyers, and fostering partnerships with foreign bars.

Batonnier Mbah Eric Mba is a true gentleman, a leader of unparalleled integrity, and a beacon of hope for the future of the legal profession in Cameroon.

The Colbert Factor:

MPs For Sale

So they came to Jerusalem, and Jesus went into the temple and began driving out those who bought and sold in the temple. He upset the tables of the money changers and the seats of the dealers in pigeons, and he would not allow anyone to use the temple court as the thoroughfare for carrying goods. Then he began to teach them and said: 'Does not scripture say my house shall be called a house of prayer for the nations? But you have made it a robbers' cave.'
Mark, 11:15-18

When one of the Members of Parliament for this 10th legislature arrived at the National Assembly in the winter of 2020 after winning the by-election following a re-run in one of the constituencies in Cameroon's North West Region, he told me he received some curious advice upon arrival at the Glass House. The newly elected ruling CPDM MP was told by his fellow backbenchers that at the National Assembly, there were only two political parties - those in the bureau and the floor members. His colleagues made him understand that regardless of the political party ticket that brought one to the National Assembly, once elected into the bureau, one reason like those of the ruling party while all those who do not have posts (and regardless of the political party), become the opposition at the National Assembly.

Most voters will be bemused to learn that being a Member of Parliament in Cameroon's National Assembly today is not necessarily in the interest of the ordinary constituent. Of the 180 MPs in Cameroon's National Assembly, over 100 of them pursue their private, rather than public interests. A lot of paid business interests go in there. And, it is these paid interests that are threatening to strike at the heart of Cameroon's chequered democracy. The National Assembly has since become a marketplace with the politicians and government ministers who come to defend their bills as the commodity.

The first match starts at 11am. It will involve some youths.

The second game of the day will involve the women. Some former Indomitable lionesses will play against a South West female selection.

The third match will be played between the South West Footballers Association and the Cameroon National Footballers Association.

Except otherwise, the real match will start at 3:30pm between former Indomitable Lions and former Super Eagles (2000 generation).

On the evening of 25/11/23 around 10p.m. at Mile 3 Nkwen in Snack Bar Big G, several ambazonia gunmen came on motorcycles and opened fire on the civilian crowd who came to watch the Nigerian artist *Sylvester Mabu*, aka Shina Rambo.

At least 5 victims were killed on the spot and several others rushed to the Nkwen PMI district hospital, Bingo Annex Hospital and Bamenda Regional Hospital.

About five other people were rushed to intensive care at the PMI namely

*Please Be Careful, Ignorance Is Not An Excuse*.

Empty bottles of water and cans used by patients in hospitals are being packed by the cleaners while they clean the environment.
In the course of discarding the empty bottles of water and cans from a discharged patient, an attendant discovered that one of the kegs had saliva inside, meaning the patient was salivating into one of the bottles. This patient had tuberculosis(TB).
This also is applicable to other hospitals around the globe. Some patients even urinate inside the containers. These patients may have HIV, Hepatitis and other infections diseases.

Now my worry is, the women who pack these empty bottles of water and cans do sell them to people who make Zobo, Tiger nut drinks, Kunu etc. Victims buy and consume it unaware of the sources of the containers.
A consumer buys #50 or probably #100 worth of drink with his or her own money and end up having a life threatening disease or even an ailments that could take his or her life if not well treated out of carelessness.
The cycle keeps going. Let's be guided.
Even bottled groundnut is not exempted.
Please let's be very careful with these kind of things. You mean a lot to me and I wouldn't like you to fall a victim.

This message is for everyone.
