Pele to be laid to rest in 14-floor 'vertical cemetery' in Santos with 14,000 vaults, a waterfall and a car museum after the football legend's death aged 82

Pele will be buried in a 14-storey cemetery in the centre of Santos on Tuesday following three days of official mourning.
The three-time World Cup champion, who died someday will be taken from the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo on Monday to the Vila Belmiro Stadium where members of the public will be able to pay their final respects.

The Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica is a Brazilian cemetery. Located in Santos, in the state of São Paulo, its construction began in 1983, and the first burial was on 28 July 1984. The cemetery is 32 stories high and occupies a total of 1.8 hectares of land and contains about 16,000 graves.

It received the Guinness World Records title for the tallest cemetery in the world.
Brazilian football legend Pelé is set to be buried there after his funeral.

Ramon Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi has been sentenced to 11 years in jail by the United States Central District Court in California over fraud and money laundering.
He will however spend only nine years in prison as he has already spent two years in prison in the US.
Hushpuppi was in June 2020 arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, over an extensive fraud scheme that has robbed victims of their money in the U.S, Qatar, the United Kingdom, and other places.
