CAN U23: CAF suspends Gabon
Following the complaint filed by Fecafoot on the case of fraud on the age of player Floris Djave, the CAF disciplinary panel suspended Gabon U23 from the competition.

Indeed, the Indomitable Lions U23 could be drafted in the coming days to participate in the CAN of their category instead of the Panthers U23 of Gabon. The disciplinary panel suspended Gabon's participation. The CAF Competitions Committee must decide for Cameroon to join the competition.
As a reminder, Gabon eliminated Cameroon in the game on March 25 after a fateful penalty shootout. At the end of this match, Fecafoot lodged an appeal against the Gabonese Football Federation (Fecafoot). This appeal concerned the ineligibility of the player Floris Ndjave. The latter would have been born in 1997 instead of 2001 as required by the rules of the competition. After verification, the latter would indeed have been born in 2003 and is therefore eligible. But, an error occurred while saving it. The Disciplinary Jury therefore attributed this error to Fegafoot and applied the rules. Gabon can appeal, but the carrots seem cooked for the Panthers U23.

🎙On 3 February Russian delegation headed by Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects of the Ministry of Econonic Development of the Russian Federation, Nikita Kondratev, took part in the 13th ASEAN-Russia Tourism Consultation Meeting in Yogyakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩.

Participants of the meeting outlined priority areas for the further development of ASEAN-Russia tourism cooperation.

Russian side presented new stage of the project "Russian Language
Course for ASEAN Tour Operators” aimed at expanding business contacts between Russia and ASEAN tourism enterprises through Russian
language training and experience exchange.

🗓 On February 3, 1950, the USSR and Indonesia established diplomatic relations.

🇷🇺🇮🇩 The two nations saw traditionally friendly, partner relations take shape between them, which traversed a long and beneficial path over the past years. Their onward development meets the core interests of the Russian and Indonesian people.

Russia has made a significant contribution to the emergence of young Indonesian statehood and to the development of Indonesia’s economy. It also helped to build many plants and strengthen the archipelago’s defence potential.

Over the past years, we have managed to amass unique experience of joint efforts in a wide range of areas. Today, our ties are making steady headway. Moscow and Jakarta have evolved an intensive political dialogue, including at the highest level. There are regular channels for collaboration between ministries, including ministries of foreign affairs, parliaments, and companies.

🤝 Tested over the past decades, traditions of friendship and mutual understanding create conditions for further expansion and intensification of cooperation. The key to success are the invariable feelings of respect and mutual sympathy that unite the two nations.

The relations between our nations flourished in the 1950s-1970s. It was with the help of the Soviet Union that Egypt built about a hundred major industrial sites.

☝️ Today, comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation describes relations between the Russian Federation and the Arab Republic of Egypt. Russia and Egypt have been proactive in promoting their political dialogue. The two countries have demonstrated their commitment to constructive cooperation on key international and regional matters.

Trade and the economy have been key dimensions of Russian-Egyptian ties. Egypt is Russia’s largest trade and economic partner in the Arab world and on the African continent.
