As his tenure comes to an end, President of Ntarinkon Cooperative Credit Union NTACCUL, Fru Isaac Taku encourages potential members to join Ntarinkon Cooperative Credit Union with confidence.

In Pidgin,a widely used indigenous language in Cameroon, the President said "Wuna fit trust Ntarinkon, wuna come keep wuna money for this microfinance. Wuna money no di shake—NtaCCUL di always pay interest to e members!". In English language, it simply means "Join a trusted financial institution that values and rewards its members"

Some major achievements recorded..
- Ntarinkon Cooperative Credit union is proud to have over 92,000 members registered, having a growth rate of 13% in 2024,
-The union has recruited more members,
-Branches of Ngaoundere and Limbe have gone operational,
-The Digitalization process has witnessed an increase in online transactions.

David ABOUEM À TCHOYI has died...
He was former SG/PR. Former SG/PM
Member of the National Commission on Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.

Born on January 15, 1944 in Kribi, David Abouem in Tchoyi entered the primary school of his native village in 1950. His secondary studies took place at the Collège Evangélique de Libamba, from 1957 to 1964. Then, he enrolled at the University of Yaoundé where he obtained a degree in Law in 1967, before entering ENAM, from where he graduated in 1969. He also graduated from IIAP in Paris.

Assigned to the Ministry of Territorial Administration, he will be Head of the Coordination Department, Director of Territorial Organization, and SG from August 31, 1972. For a while, he successively held the following positions:
SG of the Ministry of Planning and Regional Development,

SG of the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and SG of the Prime Minister's services from July 17, 1975. Then on September 8, 1976, he was appointed Governor of the North-West region, before occupying the same position in the South-West region.

On February 4, 1984, he was appointed SG to the Presidency of the Republic. Then from August 24, 1985 to November 21, 1986, he was Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Member of the National Commission on Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.

Poliomyelitis causes disabilities. Prof. Suzanne Sap, pediatrician at the Chantal BIYA Foundation encourages parents to vaccinate children aged 0 to 5 from October 24 to 27, 2024.

Within the framework towards the eradication of poliomyelitis,a vaccination campaign has been scheduled to take place from the 24th to 27th October.

In order to better prepare for this activity, a briefing held on Friday the 18th October at the conference hall of the Regional Delegation of Public Health North-West Region to better educate media actors and social media influencers on the Polio Campaign

The vaccine is still the best way to prevent polio. A national campaign to vaccinate children aged 0 to 5 against polio is planned from October 24 to 27, 2024.

Some artists in the North-West Region were selected to be part of an Information session and an Artistic Afternoon, at the Arts and Cultural hall, to brainstorm on how best they could use the opportunities offered them by the Cameroonian Cultural Network.

Akumbu Jones is a representative of the Network that consists of over 8 organizations. He told Civiclens that artists in the North-West Region have not yet had the kind of visibility they deserve and think that it is only normal for these artists to have some financial gain in every piece they put out to their audience.

Cameroonian Cultural Network is extending this opportunity to the North-West Region for the first time and according to Akumbu Jones, over 4 artist will stand out if the concept is well understood
