4 Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer of Mamfe yesterday in Nguti professed their Simple Vows before their General Superior, Sr. Nathalie Kansie
In a Mass precided over by the Vicar General, Fr. Daniel Takem, assisted by the Vicar for Religious, Fr. Collins Nkwelle, and other Priests, Sr. Atabong Maricole, Sr. Ning Bronhilda, Sr. Nora Berinyu, and Sr. Tasah Berlinda committed their "Yes" to God for the next one year to become temporal members of the Congregation of the Sisters of Jesus the Redemeer of Mamfe.
In his homily the VG called on young Sisters to cultivate a strong spirit of perseverance and to be faithful even when challenges come. He underlined the fact that perserverance is an essential attribute of fidelity.
Challenges, he stressed, have made many to abandon the Priesthood and Religious Life. So cultivating a spirit of perserverance is paramount for anyone engaging in this religious adventure.
It should be noted that this Congregation was founded in Mamfe in 2009 by the bishop Francis Teke Lysinge, the first bishop of Mamfe.

Two Acolytes have been admitted in to candidacy by His Lordship Aloysius Abangalo Fondong , Bishop of Mamfe during a Holy mass at St Francis Xavier Pastoral Center Chapel in the early hours of Friday June 28 , 2024. They verbally and publicly professed their desire to receive the sacrament of Holy Orders as deacons, professing their faith to serve the church in the diocese of Mamfe and an oath of fidelity as they are ready to be ordained transitional deacons tomorrow June 29, 2024.

The Bishop of Mamfe His Lordship Aloysius Abangalo Fondong together with the Presbyterium of the Diocese of Mamfe in fraternal solidarity have joined Fr Henry Mbanwi, a priest of the diocese of Mamfe and Bursar of SAJOPAMS Bachuo Ntai, to bid farewell to his Father Pa Mbanwi Tropen Hear for God.
He was laid to rest in his home in Mbeme after a Holy Mass that was presided over by the Chief Shepherd in Ss Peter and Paul Parish church in Mbeme.
