SHADOW RECORDS (distribuido y comercializado por REGAIN RECORDS) se enorgullece de presentar el esperado quinto álbum de OFERMOD,

Mysterium Iniquitatis, en formatos de CD, vinilo LP y casete.
A estas alturas, OFERMOD no debería requerir presentación. Formada en los días oscuros de 1996, la banda lanzó su EP debut, Mystérion Tés Anomias, en 1998. Aunque solo eran dos canciones, la salva de apertura de OFERMOD sembró las semillas para el movimiento ortodoxo de black metal que comenzaría a florecer en el nuevo milenio. , junto con otros ex alumnos de SHADOW RECORDS, FUNERAL MIST y MALIGN. El crimen y el caos seguían al mainman Belfagor dondequiera que fuera, y el impulso de la banda se mantuvo detenido. Sin embargo, OFERMOD finalmente se convirtió en una entidad de trabajo nuevamente, comenzando con el Tiamtü de larga duración de 2008, y a través de la magia y la voluntad siguieron más grabaciones: Thaumiel (2012), el EP Serpents 'Dance de dos canciones (2014), Sol Nox (2017) , y el Pentagrammaton póstumo, originalmente destinado a ser el álbum debut de la banda. Cada uno presentó una pieza fundamental del rompecabezas en constante evolución de OFERMOD, siempre igual, pero siempre diferente.

Y el rompecabezas sigue siendo eterno, sin importar cuándo o cómo surja una grabación de OFERMOD. Esto puede decirse de Mysterium Iniquitatis, que vuelve a reunir la formación original - Belfagor a la guitarra y el vocalista Nebiros (MALIGN, MEPHORASH) - con el bajo de sesión de Magnus “Devo” Andersson (ex-MARDUK) y la batería de sesión de Calle Larsson. . De hecho, Mysterium Iniquitatis recuerda inmediatamente a ese EP de Mystérion Tés Anomias infinitamente influyente, pero templado por la edad, la experiencia y el equilibrio. A la vez marcial y fascinante, fogoso y furioso, pero ejecutado con una nitidez y delicadeza que es la penúltima en profesionalismo, Mysterium Iniquitatis presenta a OFERMOD en su forma más ajustada y tersa, su melodicismo característicamente maléfico adquiere nuevos contornos cuando se somete a un campo sonoro tan asombrosamente logrado. Del mismo modo, la voz de Nebiros devuelve la severidad de antaño, a caballo entre el pasado, el presente y el futuro con igual aplomo; su enunciación clara realmente pone los pelos de punta. La producción, cortesía de Andersson en Endarker Studios, corta como un cuchillo reluciente y un hacha oxidada al mismo tiempo, el complemento perfecto con puño de hierro para la composición de canciones en constante crecimiento y desarrollo de la banda aquí. Se debe hacer una mención especial a los coros masculinos en la canción principal de apertura, cortesía de Thomas Ericksson (Year of the Goat) y Lars Broddesson (ex-MARDUK), que transmiten una grandiosidad incomparable.

Con una portada adecuadamente grandiosa, cortesía de John Albin Hampus Ekström, Mysterium Iniquitatis es la entrada vital y viril a la cuarta década de existencia de OFERMOD.

Overview/Bio:
From the primordial magma before the beginning of time come FOSSILIZATION. Obscure, vile and crushing Death Metal.

Fossilization is a death metal band formed in 2020. The duo featuring members of the sludge/death/doom metal band Jupiterian, V. (voices, guitars, bass) and P. (drums) started as an idea right after their european tour with Krypts, Father Befouled and Encoffination but since Jupiterian was still working on their last album, the project had to be delayed and it only turned to full time band after the striking of the plague.
Their 5 tracks debut EP, 'He Whose Name Was Long Forgotten' was recorded in their hometown, São Paulo - Brazil and mixed by Otso Ukkonen (Krypts).
