ause music is the art of sounds in the movement of time. Chief is a dynamic beatmaker, filling the gap between classic beatmaking and forward thinking production. He’s well known for both his solo works and for producing singers and rappers such as Aloe Blacc, Blu, Moka Only, Jneiro Jarel or Georgia Anne Muldrow. He toured in the US, South Africa and Europe, sharing the stage with Flying Lotus, Dam Funk, Gilles Peterson, Lefto, MF Doom and many more. Before having his own show on Brooklyn Radio, Chief has also been a DJ guest on BBC Radio, NTS Radio or Rinse FM. Swiss knife always exploring new skills, David Lamon began deejaying in 2007, after years of digging and writing about music. More recently, he came back to photography, thanks to Instagram and frequent travels to Southeast Asia.
