About the Author

H.P. Gentileschi is a former director of an English language school for children in Rome, Italy. Currently she is an elementary school teacher at an international school and an experienced English as an Additional Language (EAL) instructor. As if that weren’t enough to keep her busy, she’s also a mum of two, artist and total bake-off queen. A native of Texas, she now lives and works in Rome, having worked with young learners in Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the USA for two decades.

After many years of not being able to find quality resources for her young EAL students – and tired of the same old boring pre-readers for English-speaking children – Gentileschi decided to take matters in to her own hands. The AlphaBOX Alphabet Readers collection was born!

With her unique brand of gorgeous design, friendly characters and clear text, the author is now bringing English fluency and literacy to children one letter at a time.
