Vorbericht Gorgoroth

Am 28. November 2024 erwartet das Turock in Essen ein unvergesslicher Abend für alle Fans des extremen Metal, wenn Gorgoroth im Rahmen ihrer „Black Metal Revelation Tour 2024 Part 3“ die Bühne betreten. Die norwegische Black-Metal-Legende wird an diesem Abend ihre düstere, rohe Energie entfachen und das Publikum in die eisigen Tiefen des norwegischen Black Metal führen.

**Gorgoroth** zählt seit ihrer Gründung 1992 zu den führenden Bands dieses Genres und hat sich durch kompromisslose Härte, atmosphärische Dunkelheit und provokante Auftritte einen Namen gemacht. Mit Alben wie *Pentagram*, *Under the Sign of Hell* und *Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam* haben sie sich ihren Platz in der Metal-Geschichte gesichert. Die aktuelle Tour markiert eine weitere Phase in der Geschichte der Band, die sich nicht nur musikalisch weiterentwickelt hat, sondern auch in ihren Live-Shows für intensiven, rituellen Black Metal bekannt ist.

Als Support haben sich Gorgoroth namhafte Acts der Szene ins Boot geholt:

**Mortiis**, der ebenfalls aus Norwegen stammt, bringt einen völlig anderen, aber ebenso düsteren Klang in den Abend. Als Pionier des Dungeon Synth und Industrial Metal schaffte er es, mit seinem eigenwilligen, atmosphärisch-elektronischen Sound ein dunkles Klangbild zu zeichnen.

**Aron Angmar** wird den Abend mit seiner Kombination aus rohem, aggressivem Black Metal eröffnen. Seine Musik verkörpert die pure Essenz des Genres und setzt auf finstere, schnelle Riffs sowie schneidende Vocals, die das Publikum in die finsteren Abgründe der menschlichen Seele reißen.

**Hats Barn**, eine französische Black-Metal-Band, rundet das Line-up ab. Sie sind für ihre okkulte, wütende Darbietung und ihre raue Energie bekannt und passen perfekt zum rohen, kompromisslosen Stil von Gorgoroth.

Für alle Fans von düsteren, extremen Klängen und intensiven Live-Performances ist der 28. November 2024 im Turock ein Pflichttermin. Die Tore zur Hölle werden geöffnet, und der Abend verspricht ein Erlebnis voller schwarzer Magie, Nihilismus und purer musikalischer Zerstörung zu werden.

Vorbericht: Sepultura – 40 Years Farewell Tour im Palladium Köln

Am 02. November 2024 wird das Kölner Palladium von einem Metal-Sturm der Extraklasse erschüttert: Sepultura, die brasilianische Thrash-Metal-Legende, bringt ihre monumentale 40 Years Farewell Tour "Celebrating Life Through Death"** in die Domstadt. Sepulturas letzte Tour nach vier Dekaden voller bahnbrechender Musik.

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1984 hat Sepultura die Metal-Welt geprägt wie kaum eine andere Band. Mit Klassikern wie *"Roots Bloody Roots"*, *"Refuse/Resist"* oder *"Arise"* setzten sie Maßstäbe für Thrash und Death Metal und beeinflussten unzählige Bands weltweit. Auf dieser Abschiedstour nehmen sie ihre Fans mit auf eine Reise durch 40 Jahre Bandgeschichte.

Besonders an diesem Abend: Die Tour steht unter dem Motto "Celebrating Life Through Death", ein Titel, der perfekt zu Sepulturas düsterer und zugleich lebensbejahender Philosophie passt. Frontmann **Derrick Green**, der seit 1998 das Mikrofon übernommen hat, liefert auch nach über zwei Jahrzehnten eine beeindruckende Präsenz, während Gitarrist **Andreas Kisser**, Bassist **Paulo Jr.** und Schlagzeuger **Eloy Casagrande** die musikalische Wucht der Band in die Gegenwart katapultieren.

Doch das Konzert wird nicht nur von Sepultura allein getragen: Als Support-Act haben sie keine Geringeren als die US-amerikanische Death-Metal-Ikone **Obituary** dabei. Songs wie *"Slowly We Rot"* oder *"Cause of Death"* sind in der Metal-Welt längst Klassiker und versprechen ein düsteres Warm-up für den Hauptact des Abends.

Das Konzert im Palladium wird nicht nur ein Fest für Fans von Sepultura, sondern auch eine Hommage an 40 Jahre Metal-Geschichte, in denen die Band immer wieder neu erfand, ohne jemals ihre Wurzeln zu vergessen. Für all jene, die mit der Musik der Brasilianer aufgewachsen sind oder sie erst später für sich entdeckt haben, wird es eine letzte Gelegenheit sein, diese Legende live zu erleben. Also: Haare auf und ab in den Moshpit – Sepultura lädt ein, ein letztes Mal die Bühne zu rocken, bevor sich der Vorhang für immer senkt.
