GMBC - GENÈVE MUSIC BAND CONTEST

BAM International Private Ltd., music label and publishing house based in Geneva (Switzerland), mostly dedicated to classical music and music for wind instruments, has decided to hold a Competition called “Genève Music Band Contest” (or GMBC) that will take place in Geneva on 29-30-31 October 2021 at PALEXPO center.

With this competition BAM International wishes to offer a certain visibility to orchestras for wind instruments and to create an opportunity for all interested wind orchestras from Europe and from further field to get together, express themselves artistically and, in preparation for each event, to motivate each participating orchestra to develop their unique qualities and raise their standards from year to year.

We will welcome at least 20 bands from all over the world who will compete for 3 days or will simply participate out of competition in a non-competitive way.

For the participating bands who choose to compete with other bands there are five different levels: EXCELLENCE, SUPERIOR, FIRST, SECOND and THIRD. The performances will be observed and carefully evaluated by a jury composed of world-renowned composers and directors. See you at the GMBC in Geneva! www.genevemusicbandcontest.com
