Yuno a start-up belonging to the Migros Group, is expanding into French-speaking Switzerland. The company rents out electronic devices such as cell phones, cameras and tablets on a subscription model, which also includes the maintenance of the devices. The company entered the market in German-speaking Switzerland in May 2022. Since then, the number of current rental contracts has risen steadily.

Berset arrived by train in Nemishaieve near the Kiev suburb of Butscha. The President of the Swiss Confederation was accompanied by the Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine, Felix Baumann, and greeted on his arrival by Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis.

As part of his visit to Ukraine, Berset was then to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife and take part in a summit on the export of Ukrainian grain to countries that rely on it.

The study was conducted by the Netherlands Cancer Institute and the European Fair Pricing Network (EFPN), of which the Swiss Cancer League is also a member, as announced by the latter on Thursday. In the study, the researchers examined the time between approval and availability of six cancer drugs in Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland.

In February, German Economics Minister Robert Habeck and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius requested that some of the decommissioned Leopard 2 main battle tanks be sold back to the tank manufacturer. Parliament had approved the decommissioning of the tanks as part of the Army Dispatch 2023.
Defense Minister Viola Amherd said in parliament that the sell-back is correct in terms of neutrality law and makes sense in terms of neutrality policy.

This is shown by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) in its new study “Survey of waste composition 2022”, which it presented to the media in Bern on Tuesday. According to the study, around 6 million tons of waste from households and small businesses are generated each year. That is 671 kilos of municipal waste per person.
