MY SISTER RUINED MY PROPOSAL ON PURPOSE — IS THE LESSON I TAUGHT HER JUSTIFIED?
So, my proposal was supposed to be one of our happiest moments. I planned it at our favorite beach, where we had had our first date. I had flowers, a romantic picnic, and a hidden photographer ready to capture it all.
When the day came, my sister insisted on coming along to take some "candid" photos before the proposal. I wasn't sure about that because she'd just gone through a breakup after she thought her boyfriend would finally propose. I thought it might be awkward, but then agreed, thinking we could make the moment more special. Big mistake.
At the beach, my sister starts acting weird, making snarky comments, and trying to direct everything. My girlfriend senses something's off, and it’s ruining the mood. Then, out of nowhere, my sister GRABS the ring box from my pocket and YELLS, "Surprise! Look what he's gonna do!" My girlfriend's shocked, and I'm FURIOUS.
I managed to salvage the proposal a bit, and my girlfriend said yes, but it all didn't feel right. Later, I confronted my sister, and she just laughed it off, saying she was "just trying to help" and that I was overreacting. But I just knew I had to teach her a lesson.

My son was going to marry the "love of his life," and I felt extremely happy for them. When we arrived at the wedding venue, the maid of honor came to my son and hugged him. But I noticed how she slipped him a letter and heard her whisper in his ear, "READ IT AND RUN."
When she walked away, my son opened the letter. His face changed immediately; he looked completely shocked.
"What happened, dear?" I asked, scared. "I have to go, Mom. NOW," he replied sharply, then abruptly got into the car and drove away quickly.

I SHARED A RIDE WITH RANDOM STRANGER — WHEN HE STARTED TALKING, I REALIZED I WAS IN TROUBLE
It happened on the way to my sister's wedding. Of course, as usual, I was running late, so I decided to take a shortcut. I turned onto an off-road path and drove along deserted roads for a while until... Yes, my old Ford gave out.
I tried to fix it; my dad had once told me how, but it was in vain. Usually, I'm not this desperate, but I had to do something. So I started hitchhiking.
After a few unsuccessful attempts, a truck stopped in front of me. The door opened, and without a moment's hesitation, I climbed inside. He's just a good man, right?
But then things started to get weird. He was acting very strangely, asking me questions like, "Does anybody know your car broke down?" and telling me he collects knives. I was scared, but my phone was dead, and I couldn't even call for help!
