Dj Spotlight 🔥 Home Cookin’

Home Cookin’ (Joel Waldie) has been a DJ in Winnipeg since 2018 and got his start playing in Winnipeg’s downtown clubs, including the Pyramid Cabaret. 

Founder of the FunkyTown Project, Joel’s multi-genre musical style sits somewhere between Funky-House/Breakbeats and UKG, mixed with Rock and Roll, Old school Dance & Hip Hop, and a mixing style designed to keep you on your feet ’til the very end.

Joel is also one of 4 owner/directors of Bring Your Love Festival of arts - FunkyTown’s sister/surrogate summer event. The BYL team is a truly amazing crew, and we are blessed to have a high level of involvement from the festival team for the upcoming FunkyTown; can’t wait for the end result!

Wobble kRew formed in the summer of 2016 from the wobbly mind of long time supporter, active participant and avid lover of the Winnipeg rave scene: Ryan Whiting.
Starting as a promotional brand throwing local shows, eventually hosting touring and international artists such as Slynk, Father Funk, WBBL, Stickybuds, Phibes, Stylust, TRUTH, Mat the Alien, among others.
Having grown beyond just a promotional brand, the wobble kRew has expanded to clothing, photography, art, & food.
