📢ATTENTION WINDSOR📢

ONCE AGAIN! Our politicians continue to play political games with the lives of our citizens! We cannot afford delaying essential life saving health care services any longer!

We are asking you to show your solidarity on Monday, February 27th at 3:15 as we rally AGAIN for the CTS site!

We are asking our politicians to give their stamp of approval for the health units compromise to move forward with the crucial provincial funding needed in order to offer the essential wrap around health care services our citizens deserve!

We cannot afford to delay the provincial funding any longer!

Harm reduction is healthcare!! HEALTH CARE FOR ALL!

We will be headed into council chambers at 4p.m. after the rally. If you cannot make it in person please contact your city councillor and urge them to pass the health unit’s compromise.

Mayor Drew Dilkens makes misleading 'bait and switch' comments regarding CTS funding.

📢ATTENTION WINDSOR📢

We take our eyes off this council for 1 moment, and Mayor Dilkens and some councillors decide to play political games with the lives of our community.

The CTS site we all fought for and was expected at the last council meeting to receive the city’s approval to enter the next process phase has been derailed by Councillor Gignac and Mayor Dilkens.

We need attention back on this issue!

There is NO consistency when it comes to their politics and their justifications for their decision-making. Their blatant disregard for the lives lost to our opioid epidemic locally is disgusting. They know it’s a bad look to openly say they do not support the CTS, so they delay the process and play politics.

This will NOT stand!

Share this widely! Call your councillors and tell them we cannot wait any longer! We need the city’s approval by the next council meeting and no later.

Drug users have a right to healthcare. Taking back the approval of this site is akin to fumbling at 4th and goal and a tactic to stop a healthcare facility planned and supported by our public health authority, WECHU. The location went through thorough consultation over the last 4 years and was already chosen democratically.
This is hypocritical!
