Dream CO Artist & Event Supportive Non-Profit: Event production & environment creation, booking agency, multi

In 2002, Lilith Klassen organized an event that raised enough funds to complete a new roof for the community hall at Joe King Ballpark on Hornby Island. From this successful fundraising event, the grassroots non-profit Dream CO was born to support local artists & music, raise money for communities and donate time to building festivals and events. Since then, the grassroots non-profit Dream CO has

spearheaded community fundraisers, organized small to large 3 sound stage festivals, built stages at festivals and events locally and internationally (Los Angeles, New York, Hawaii, etc) has launched community kids zones, arts and music programs, volunteered circus arts in the schools and beyond. Dream CO not only creates events but also specializes in assisting other organizational groups in their event creation. Some examples of past Dream CO volunteer works include: One of 32 organizers (3 months of meetings) for Main Stage the Los Angeles Decompression 2006(photo) one of 14 organizers on the Earthdance Weekend Campout (photo) of the highly successful fundraiser to save OUR Ecovillage in Shawnigan Lake, hosted a chill lounge at Lightning in a Bottle, volunteered site clean/recycling at Shambhala Music Festival, served on the Board for the Cortes Community Radio Station, Literacy Now Committee, served 2 years on the Housing Committee on Hornby Island, built and funded a brand new circus festival for kids and families called PLAY!, which is in it’s 2nd year and includes a fall-spring circus program at community centres and in elementary schools in Victoria, BC.
