Sailing SV Geneviève S/V Geneviève has been upgraded to v2.0 ! Genevieve is now a beautiful Pearson 530 Bill Shaw 53' staysail ketch sailing boat.

The Globe 41 features an excellent cruising layout either for a couple with occasional guests or for a family. The boat has lots of storage and beautiful teak workwork. At the bow, the V cabin features two single berths,with two single berths, with plenty of storage. Opening ports in the hull and a large opening hatch offer natural light and ventilation. The chain locker has space for two separate

chains with rode. It is accessed through a pair of louvered doors above the foot of the berths. A head with a shower is aft of the V cabin. The salon is next aft, with an L shaped settee and a dining table. A teak and ivory carving on the wall behind the settee adds elegance to the salon. The galley is on the starboard side, featuring a Frigoboat refrigerator/freezer, a double stainless steel sink, and a Force 10 propane range with three burners. Aft of the galley is the navigator’s desk, with a very secure sea berth which is important for the off watch while on passage. The walkthrough to the Master cabin is located on the port side. It has two large panels that give access to the Volvo diesel engine. Across from the engine panels are the electronics, the battery charger and AC/DC converter.The breaker panel is beside this equipment. There is also a shelf that can be used for a microwave and other appliances with cabinet space beneath. The Master cabin is a highlight of the yacht design. It is very large for a boat this size, featuring a queen sized berth with a desk/vanity, spacious cabinet and closet areas and an ensuite head with shower. Carved accents are found throughout , lending an air of class and old world craftsmanship!

Meet S/V Geneviève v2.0

Geneviève has been upgraded to a beautiful Bill Shaw 53' staysail ketch sailing boat. She's a centre cockpit with three cabins, two heads, raised saloon and large aft cabin. She displaces 43 000lbs and has a 6'10" draft. She will be setting sail early in the new year.
