Speaking of video ads, how about the amazing ladies at Intimate Wellbeing We had an incredible day filming for their company and their amazing product, Okanagan Joy. The video we created stirred up a bit of a ruckus with Meta and censorship—an interesting experience since the ad was pretty classy and PG. I’m learning so much about the sexual health industry! #SexualHealthMatters
Did someone say sexy boats? UltraDeck Marine Flooring has done it again! Have you seen these testimonial videos? The Holowach family? The Mini Boat Mafia ? Over two days, we had a blast filming and interviewing current and future leaders for climate change at the C.A.R.E. - Climate Action Ripple Effect event by Fresh Outlook Foundation The Community Climate Expo drew 300+ exhibitors and attendees, followed by the Student Summit with 100+ projects and a diverse crowd of participants. Thanks to Jo for inviting us to this inspiring event! (That's where most of my business cards went!)

CARE - Community Climate Expo & Student Summit
What an inspiring 48 hours! Phreeagent attended the CARE events #ClimationActionRippleEffect by Fresh Outlook Foundation capturing #videos #dronevideo and incredible #interviews at the 2 day event in Vernon, BC. We definitely put in our steps! The CARE events, which included the Community Expo and the Student Summit - had 15 teachers, 60+ mentors, and 400+ students collaborate to create more than 100 climate action projects!

We met so many remarkable people from the community, local businesses, teachers and a group of incredibly bright and inspired students. The energy was simply infectious as everyone who participated was determined to make positive change in the world.

The sights and sounds of the last couple of weeks. We had some inspiring new client meetings, some brilliant days of filming, creating, volunteering and meeting new people. Pre-Production Days

What a week! The highs, the lows, the ups and downs, the turnaround and back around! So yes the house is in disarray after water damage and it looks like we could be like this for another month at least. But, the sun has been shining lately so there’s been more exercise and great thinking and planning meetings with Keli and Monty. There’s been networking and spreading the Phree ‘gospel’ around town. Above all there’s been a ton of creativity. As we just made it through our 3 month anniversary you got to be really creative to get some business coming in the door. So that combo of talking to people and having phresh new content to show them - without new work - has been the challenge. What do you do? Ya get creative period. You get filming, you sharpen your motion graphic skills, you keep diving into AI tools and you write and write and write. My idea book is dripping ink everywhere I go. So far it’s working. People, companies are noticing and some farther away than I ever imagined. When you don’t think people are even watching, well, they actually always are watching. Just keep believing and doing your best. Feeling very grateful this Friday. Have a great weekend.

Real Estate Videos by Phreeagent Creative
I love March but soon - April 1st - will mark our official 2-month anniversary! Time feels like it's moving both slow and fast simultaneously. It's been a whirlwind couple of months, and one of the most rewarding aspects has been getting to know all of you and learning about your fantastic ideas!
So, two standout trends have emerged so far:
1. Real estate agents and developers are stepping up their marketing game.
2. There's a growing interest in creating podcasts here in the Okanagan.
What's the common denominator? Storytelling. It's all about telling stories in fresh, creative ways. In real estate, some neighborhoods feature rich histories that contribute to compelling narratives, while others are still in the process of taking root. Meanwhile, more and more individuals are turning to podcasting as a medium to craft and share their stories.
With spring in full swing, the air is alive with the energy of inspired minds. Here's to embracing the season and the wonderful people who are thinking outside the box! Look forward to working with many of you - we love what we do!
PS. Fun Fact. My family has been in real estate for almost 50 years and I too was once a realtor in another life!

Wrapping up #docmonth here with the fifth and most recent documentary I’ve had the pleasure to be editor of, HORSE WOMAN Horsewomandoc. It is film festival season and our little doc is currently in the Latino and Native American Film Festival Latino and Native American Film Festival, LANAFF in Greater New Haven, Connecticut. Sienna Belanger-Lee a 22 year old Indigenous woman who’s story is important because many Indigenous people feel they must leave the reserve to have opportunities for a good future.
This is a half hour documentary about a series of life changing events described by Mariel Belanger and Sienna Belanger-Lee. Sienna finds a deeper meaning to her life with wild horses when a raging forest fire threatens not just her home, but her new equine family. Reconnecting to family, culture and land, in this coming-of-age story, horses heal and women come together. Sienna realizes to stay is to be a steward to the land, horses and ourselves as responsibility to place.

Horse Woman
Week 2 has been nothing short of amazing for the Phreeagent Creative Media launch! Our website has gone live, and we've released our first completed #podcast project of #2024. The genuine support, confidence, and love from the community and beyond have been unbelievable. THANK YOU! I honestly didn't expect such a smooth launch. Despite having a tight timeline since the beginning of December when I started planning this, it seems that the hard work I've put in over the past ten years, building relationships, my portfolio and filmmaking skills, hasn't gone unnoticed. I've always been passionate about creating impactful videos that showcase the businesses, wonderful people, and the sights and sounds of the Okanagan region. I feel the LOVE!
I'm also incredibly honoured and excited to share some news about our STORYHIVE TELUS #Documentary, "HORSE WOMAN," Horsewomandoc which will be coming out very soon on Telus/Optik TV. As we released our first trailer for the film yesterday, we received the fantastic news that we've been selected for The Okanagan Screen Awards 2024 Wow!

What a way to launch!
My first #2024 #podcast #editing project was probably my hardest and not for the reasons you’d expect. The content was sooooooo good, it proved super difficult to cut anything. The conversation was so interesting - how things get started and grow are always inspiring stories. All the different insights, both Justin and David shared, not just about the ups and downs of growing a podcast but the passion and the why! But then the twist near the end on how Transistor.fm and Acquiredfm truly crossed paths!! Like I said, it was difficult to cut but I did and we all think it turned out great. A must watch, especially of course if you’re into podcasts and business.
