The citation from the Advisory Council for the Order recognizes her “innovative programming, commissioning, and community engagement” which have contributed to “a lasting legacy for the choral community,” and “helped establish Vancouver’s national and worldwide reputation as a choral mecca.”

As our singers gather together today for our annual start of season retreat, we want to reintroduce ourselves to you, our treasured community of friends, colleagues and supporters, as simply, Elektra. Our choir welcomes adult singers of all gender identities who sing in the treble range.
