Chef Susur Lee is a legend in the culinary world, even outside Canada. The Hong Kong-born chef immigrated to Canada as a young man with big ambitions and has since opened numerous restaurants and appeared on Iron Chef Canada, Top Chef Masters, Top Chef Canada, and Masterchef Asia.

The retro-tastic home is the brainchild of a trio of female designers for an audiophile client and his family. The music room designed for him exudes the nostalgic atmosphere of the ’70s, says principal Hanna Pietras of Hanna Pietras Architects.

“The warm colours and cozy lighting create the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and immersing yourself in the sounds of your favourite music.”
