So many filmmakers just go into a wedding day, shoot everything and anything, and try to piece it together later. The films comes together just as a retelling of events.
That was us too! For YEARS!
You can have all the best cameras, the fanciest audio gear and solid business knowledge, but if you don't understand story - you won't be able to create captivating and powerful films for your couples.
We hear the word "story" all the time, but what does it really mean? In this masterclass you'll discover our process to understanding what makes up story, how to apply it to create meaningful wedding films, write the narrative in the edit and so much more.
This process has been developed with our formal film school education and 16 years of wedding film experience. We want to show you how to make elevated, story driven films that your couples and perspective clients won't stop talking about.

Hello from Hello Tomorrow Vol. 3
For the last 15 years we’ve travelled all over the world creating wedding films for the raddest of humans. To us, a good story is much more than pretty images set to music - it’s about people, journeys, and heart. Our passion is to tell moving and authentic stories about the greatest adventure in life… love.
Groom Breaks Down In Tears || Sea to Sky Wedding Video
I don’t know if you know this about me, but Pinterest is a massive problem for me. Can’t stop won’t stop. Its constant. Most of my boards are hidden cause i’m embarrassed 1st at how MUCH I pin, 2nd the stuff I’m pinning - I don’t want someone to see a shot and be like “she thinks THAT is beautiful?” when REALLY I PINNED IT BECAUSE I LIKED THE FURNITURE ARRANGEMENT AND NOT THE STYLE I SWEAR! and 3rd the amount of fall and Christmas crap I pin in the spring and summer. Its embarrassing.
That being said, I cannot tell you HOW HONOURED/ AMPED/ PUMPED ON LIFE I AM that Lyndsie found us BECAUSE OF PINTEREST!!! Being that we make films as opposed to take photos I never thought I’d see the day but thanks to an amazeballs wedding shot by Shari and Mike at Sea to Sky, our film was seen by Lyndsie + Jordan and they wanted us to shoot theirs as well! (With Shari and Mike so double bonus as we heart those kids BIG time)
Now based on this one experience of one bride finding us via Pinterest I can’t boldly and accurately proclaim that all brides who find their videographers on Pinterest will have a Pinterest worthy wedding and will be stunning and fun and amazing and perfect.
So watch this film and watch these two beautiful Americans get married at the top of a mountain in Canada.
This Couple is Everything! Kristina + Caleb's Emotional Backyard Wedding
Kristina and Caleb are not afraid. They are not afraid to be vulnerable. Not afraid to speak out loud all the feelings they have in their actual beating hearts. Not afraid for people to see inside of them. And they not afraid of (or even aware of) the camera.
You guys. This. Is. everything.
After watching the final edit I said to Mac, “I feel like this is the most intimate film we’ve ever made! I feel like I know these two so well and like I’ve been with them their entire relationship. I feel their feels and I’m so invested!” I’ve personally watched it too many times just in my free time. I love it. I love them.
So prepare yourself to feel. And also prepare your eyeballs because these two are 10/10 mega babes.
“We have roots that grew towards each other underground, and, when all the pretty blossoms had fallen from our branches, we found that we were one tree and not two.” -Lyndsie + Jordan

World Travellers' Incredible ICELAND Wedding || Sade + Patrick
When you’re young you have a lot of dreams as to what you’re gonna be when you ‘grow up’. Not gonna lie to y’all, wedding videographer wasn’t one of mine (didn’t know it existed) but I sure am happy how it worked out ;) HOWEVER I did have a list of dream jobs, many of which were crushed due to logistical (mostly height/personality) reasons while others faded away. Two of my faves were:
Hip hop dancer. (child/tween/teen Erin)
Spent most of my classes lankily bobbing around in the back row, a good 3 seconds behind everyone else, wearing a costume that was far too small. Seems you need to be somewhat coordinated to dance and as I was growing so fast I could barely walk without falling, this didn’t seem like the right fit for me…
Gunner in the army. (tween/teen Erin)
My best friend and I met a super cute army man at career day in grade 9. Nuff said. This remained our job of choice for years. Practically speaking I’m afraid of EVERYTHING, have limited coordination, physical strength or endurance of any kind and was a total FLAKE in high school sooooo you’re welcome Canada - it didn’t work out.
So when we heard from Sade and Patrick ‘we’ were excited, but tween/teen Erin was HELLA EXCITED.
SADE IS A DANCER FOR THE LION KING AND PATRICK IS A MEDIC IN THE ARMY AND THEY ARE BEYOND AMAZING!!!!
These two impossibly talented, kind and hardworking people travel all. the. time. Like actually all the time. I asked where they lived and their answer didn’t really make sense to me. Sade basically lives on the road going from from show to show, and Patrick is always on the move. So really, sky was the limit as to where they could get married. So they chose the most beautiful place I’ve ever been - Iceland.
Every family member and friend that made the trip out to join them was one of the kindest most interesting people I’ve met. This said more to me about Sade and Patrick than any words ever could. I can’t tell you how much I loved this co
Father’s Day: The one day a year that Dad jokes are 👌🏻
Iceland you are amazing… but Sade + Patrick… you’re amazing-er. Last week we flew out to Iceland to capture Sade + Patrick’s wedding and we were blown away. We can’t wait to put this film together but for now here is a sneak peak. Also check out our IGTV for a behind the scenes glimpse from the day.
Emily + Matt just wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by family and friends in the middle of nature. I’d say mission accomplished 👌🏻
