I curated this year’s festival with the ability to showcase only some of the very large number of artists that contribute to a larger and growing noise and experimental sound community in BC - I wish I could have fit all but I simply could not so they will be in future editions. Crushing ego and idol worship absolutely and fully - as a curator I am interested in recognizing and making space for various forms of sound and noise experimentation, despite my specific interest as an artist in harsh noise and conceptual work. The festival has and continues to feature artists who bring varying perspectives to what noise is with a main central purpose to push their sounds and practice to a next level, maintaining RELENTLESS commitment . The vision is to have the content of the sets show up in FORM with non-stop back to back sets (as much as logistics will allow) for the festival echoing the relentlessness in the audience experience throughout the night. In addition to those on this poster, I wanted to acknowledge significant members of the BC noise community who have produced and contributed to the development of a vibrant community of experimenters - if I miss someone lemme know: (Griefer) .paget (mass marriage), .noise .op .vantrigt .gallipo.art and my own project .nausea, and so many more.. please write if I’ve missed folks I’d like to include you in this list.

PELLUCID CROPS (Slovakia) - CONCRETE & GRAPES: A delirious trip into lost worlds. Guitar dueling with synthesizers, both in flux with the speaker. A despondent channeling of scenery beyond the scope of our minimal mammalian processing.

GRHM - THE YEARS OF LEAD AND ASH: Deafening brutal industrial combined with harsh vocals to a corrosive leap into the deep end. Victoria BC’s GRHM unveils the unease grinding into the pit of your stomach, and vomits out the bones. Hard as f*ck stuff.

EATERS OF THE SOIL - PISKIJKER: Eaters of the Soil (Netherlands) strike back with a short but sweet EP on Bent Window. Trading in instrumental doom for grinding hardcore/punk. Short blasts of free-jazz insanity coupled with bellowing trombone taking the place of vocals. At times "PISKIJKER" veers into the aura of greats such as THE FU***NG CHAMPS or NAKED CITY, but the sound remains all their own guided by noise and frantic musicality.

GRAT - S/T: Deeply experimental in the realms of drone, noise and ambient lies GRAT’s self-titled release. Detailed to the nines, the wandering of guitar, synths, feedback loops and soundscape work build upward.
