Thank you if you've sent me a DM about looking at your medical school application or chatting about med school. I'm on a lighter rotation this month so I'm happy to review applications or answer questions. To increase scheduling efficiency, please sign up for a specific Zoom meeting time at this Calendly link.

I look forward to hearing about the amazing experiences and achievements that you all have!

I'm always happy to help others like my own mentors have helped me, and know this will be controversial. I will institute a small fee to prevent no-shows and last-minute cancellations. Thanks for understanding!

Grateful to Jill Lin who was open to sharing her non-traditional path to med school, so that others going through the same feelings and challenges she faces can be encouraged that things do work out and in Jill’s words, “to follow your heart” and “don’t let others dissuade from taking a less conventional path”. Thanks Jill- it was inspiring to listen to your story! ❣️

I attended an anti-racism Zoom conference initiated by Dr. Bonnie Mason for female physicians and medical trainees. I am so grateful to the women who shared their stories. Their stories made many of us, including myself, choke up that discrimination is such a heavy burden on these women every single day. Here are notes to share what I've learned. I am educating myself on how to be a better ally, and I encourage you all to too. [ 388 more words ]
