My little dream cafe has been making headlines lately- for all the wrong reasons and yet entirely the right one. I feel so conflicted about all of this. While the support is overwhelming and I feel so grateful- I also wish it didn’t have to happen. What’s giving me strength besides the incredible outpouring of support is knowing the difference this story has made. Within just a day or so of releasing the video that broke this story (before any media outlets had picked it up) someone reached out to me to share their story. A story that is entirely too familiar. That’s all I’ll say for now- besides thank you. Thank you for sharing, liking, commenting, saving, rewatching the video- because of your support it reached someone who so desperately needed to hear it. It reached someone who had lived in silence and doesn’t have to anymore. I am so grateful for the tactful coverage of this story from every reporter. News outlets will allow this story to have more reach to hopefully reach others who might need to hear it. I might not have been the first person this happened to but I’ll make every effort to make sure I’m the last. Keep feeding your good wolf my friends 🐺 💗🙏

Thrilled to learn that Marco Ovies from has already covered the news of our new location! I wasn’t even aware they had covered the closing! I’m so appreciative as these things help small businesses so much. Marco quoted directly from my posts, not skewing the message one bit. Thank you to everyone who has followed along this journey- unfortunately the new location did not work out. I am hopeful that the right location will reveal itself in time but I’m not going to rush. I’ve had some not so great experiences and I’m doing my best to be patient. I did a full podcast episode that is available on Spotify or YouTube with updates about this, the trailer, what I’m doing now and what I hope for the future if you’re interested to listen. Thank you for the kind words and support and I’m sorry I couldn’t deliver on this one at this time. I totally understand if you are disappointed or unfollow- this account will become more personal for now. I will share my thoughts, feelings, documents my adventures and the highs and lows of this new chapter. The cafe dream is not down, it’s just on pause for now. Everything happens for a reason.
