The United Church of Canada is celebrating its 99th anniversary on June 10th - a union of Canadian branches of the Methodist Church, the Congregational Union, and 70 percent of The Presbyterian Church. Old Hay Bay Church in Adolphustown is the oldest surviving Methodist Church in Canada dating from 1792.

A 360 panorama of German POW camp at the National Air Force Museum of Canada - this one showing the escape tunnels built under the prisoner huts. The Great Escape happened 80 years ago in March. The museum has just opened a new exhibit “Captured: Airmen in German Prisoner of War Camps”.
