Time to call it! Since our last issue in 2021, I've worked with many people and organizations in the hope of finding a new institutional home and new sources of funding for Understorey. While everyone has been enthusiastic, no one has the resources to keep Understorey growing. Read more here: https://understoreymagazine.ca/submissions/the-future-of-understorey/

The good news: The challenges I faced running Understorey have helped to launch a new organization: Literary Magazines Canada Collective. LMCC aims to build a sustainable, resilient literary magazine culture in Canada. https://litmags.ca/

Thank you to our readers, authors, artists and many supporters since 2013!
