This Saturday the 22nd of June and next Saturday the 29th of June 2024 Fizzlewit will be Fairy Finding on the West Edmonton Mall ship!

Tomorrow will see a brand new version of an old favorite join my show, so be sure to come down at 12pm or 1pm for a fun filled fairytale adventure!!!

"Shoes your own adventure!"

Fizzlewit was out roving around the Downtown Spark Festival this morning and saw this amazing shoe mural. Instead of putting his feet up, he jumped at the chance of a quick photo with his friend and shoe connoisseur, Shelley Switzer

Fairy Finding Factoid: If you have not been on one of Fizzlewit's tours, you may not know that he dreams of opening his own shoe shop one day.

This intrepid group of Junior Fairy Finders braved the snow today to help Fizzlewit to rescue a lost fairy princess!

Although it was freezy cold, the birthday party was an enchanting hit with all of the guests. It really is a unique and magical way to celebrate a special day.

The Snome

What an amazing time I've had at Frost in Regina! Not only did hundreds of Fairy Finders help to me to rescue the princess, I also showed off a new character for my roving entertainment (Arthur Raven) and... Carved my first ever ice sculpture!

Reunited in Regina!

What a happy ending to this weekend's Frost Festival! The Butterfly King and Princess Caterflitter are smiling because scores of families helped to reunite them.

Thank you so much for making this Fairy Finder feel so at home, I'll be back again next weekend to do it all again!

Meet Mini Fizzlewit!

As some of you may have heard I am currently enrolled in The Academy of The Wooden Puppet, a year long course run by Worlds of Puppets with Bernd Ogrodnik. I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this course which has been funded by Edmonton Arts Council and the City of Edmonton.

After somr delays, due to working on other projects, my second puppet is finally finished. Meet my advanced hand puppet, Mini Fizzlewit!

Hand puppets are often comical characters, so I felt that, as the most foolish fairy finder ever, Fizzlewit would be make an excellent hand puppet.

Whilst I don't always share the process that goes into making a new attraction for my show I thought you would enjoy seeing some photos of this project.

The sun really shined on Fairy Finding this year! From the incredible Snow King's castle in Yellowknife, to Glastonbury Festivals in the UK and everywhere in between, Fizzlewit has been having the most amazing time enchanting audiences.

But we couldn't have done it without you. So wherever you are, be it near or far, thank you for all your magical support.

And don't forget, just because the Spring/Summer season is through, there are still ways to enjoy Fairy Finding. Why not book a winter tour or ask Fizzlewit to bring a sprinkle of magic to your next event.

Fizzlewit, Chip and Luna had so much fun wandering around Glastonbury Festivals today. You wouldn't believe how many fun people we met.

Introducing Luna!

Get ready to see more of this little Toenail Fairy as she accompanies me on adventures.

Right now, we are in the UK, getting ready for our appearance at the Glastonbury Festival of the performing arts, which begins next week.

Luna is the first fairy that comes from my studies with Bernd Ogrodnik's Academy of the Wooden Puppet. It is a dream come true to learn from this master puppeteer, and it is an exciting departure from sculpting in clay for me.

I am delighted to announce that Fairy Finding is a recipient of the Edmonton Artists’ Trust
Fund Award. Supported by the Edmonton Arts Council
and the Edmonton Community Foundation, this award is dedicated to the artistic development of Edmonton artists.

Because of this award, Fairy Finding will be bringing more close relatives of Luna to join the roster of my fae folk in the next 12 months as I work on my wood carving and puppet mastery.

Thank you Edmonton Arts Council for supporting artists like me.

Thank you International Children's Festival of the Arts

Over the space of 4 days, and 14 shows over a 1000 Fairy-Finding-Festival-goers, came out to see my new Tour. And we all had a blast!

"Fizzlewit and the rainbow fairy" features a new storyline, exclusive new fairy houses, magic and puzzles. It is now available for other festivals and events internationally.

Fairy Found!

Many thanks to everyone who came Fairy Finding with Fizzlewit last Friday on Churchill Square, Edmonton, didn't we have fun?

One of my favorite Fairy Finding Fans joined us, Sawyer! This was maybe his 5th time taking the tour and, as you can see from the smile, he loved it as much as the 1st time!

And huge thanks to Edmonton Arts Council for creating such a fun program of Spring Break events.

Edmonton Arts Council have arranged all sorts of wonderful, free activities on Churchill Square next week for Spring Break. And on Friday bring your kids on a magical adventure as we go looking for a lost fairy princess in my famous Fairy Finding Tour.

It's going to be more fun than a goblin in a flip flop!
