I feel pretty insignificant when I think about how vast the world is. Around are all these huge trees and here I am just sprouting through. I guess what I am trying to get at is, I need to stop comparing myself to others and know that I am in my own race.

This was my first time at Tofino to surf and I kept on wiping out into the cold salty water. But Lindsey finally stood up and caught a wave. I was like no way my girlfriend is surfing and I am not! The next wave I go for I finally was able to catch my first wave and boom, I instantly fell in love with surfing. It is right up there with my love for snowboarding

Hello, it's Sang again!⁠

I took a little break from posting up to social media. I found myself getting busier with filming for clients and taking less care of myself. I try to remind myself that it is okay to take breaks from time to time. I have a difficult time looking back and being proud of what I've accomplished so far. But instead, I tend to have a negative outlook of "I could've done more." But that isn't always the healthiest choice. I've learned that HUSTLE CULTURE is not always a good thing.⁠

I will be more intentional with being grateful for what I have accomplished in the day.

Taking candid shots of people are the best! It's a great way of starting conversations and meeting new people. Covid has been pretty lame with not being able to meet new people. But beware and make sure you get permission first when taking photos.

I approached Josh last year and asked if he wanted to help me build a business doing films and capturing stories. He is a big factor in me quitting my 9-5 job. On our first sit down together we both found out that we share very similar values to each other in regards to what we want for our dreams. And our dream is to share businesses ' stories on how they got started and why they do what they are doing in order to hopefully inspire someone who is looking to pursue their dream business.

UPDATE: It has been a little bit over a month since I've quit my 9-5 job to become a full-time videographer. I've already met so many new people, learned and experienced so many new things. I've been learning how to negotiate my prices, set my expectations, and build my network and relationships. There have been so many stressful situations and hardships but through it all, I am grateful to become a better man and build my company even further.⁠

I am fearful of what is on the other side of the tunnel. Especially the journey to go through it... It's going to be wet, cold, slimy, dirty, and gross. I am going to most likely slip and fall and start right back at where I began. But I cannot wait to push through and see the man I become through the journey.
